Can't remember - Google is being unhelpful there unfortunately.
Found it, it was in a Bruce Feldman write up in the Athletic
SpoilerThe secret is out at Colorado. Inside the program this summer, Mike MacIntyre and his staff were downright giddy about the potential of sophomore Laviska Shenault, a linebacker-sized X-factor offensive weapon with 4.4 speed. “He’s a total freak,” MacIntyre told me, after asking to keep some of the hype about Shenault on the down low. MacIntyre said Shenault has great hands and was going to play every receiver position for CU while also lining up in the backfield, at Wildcat QB, just about everywhere you could imagine.
“I’ve never had anything like him,” MacIntyre said. “He’s that good. I’m tellin’ ya. He’s ridiculous.”
The 6-2, 220-pounder started 2018 with a bang, catching 11 passes for 211 yards and a TD in a win Friday vs. Colorado State. He also had one carry for 5 yards and looks like quite a factor for Steven Montez and the Buffs’ offense.
Colorado beat out Alabama and TCU among others to land Shenault. The Buffs also recruited one of his best friends from high school in K.D. Nixon, a top wide receiver on a powerful DeSoto (Texas) High team that finished their final season as the No. 2-ranked team in the country.
Shenault told me Monday the reason he turned down a powerhouse like Alabama for CU was that he was intrigued to go somewhere he could make a difference. “I didn’t want to go somewhere that was already on the map,” he said. He also really liked Colorado when he visited and said he wanted to get away from where he grew up, particularly the climate.
“That Texas heat is something fierce,” he said.

Damn Shenault is good (and that coverage was butt). DeSoto kid.
Yeah he is. Is he the one who said he went to Colorado because he was tired of the heat?

So this happened in Vegas. The girl is American. Ronaldo is Portuguese and at the time was playing for a Spanish team and a German paper broke the story? Seems kind of strange.
-
Unnecessary roughness for that? OL fall on their guys all the time to make sure they can't get up and get back in on the play. The holding on the same guy was a legit call though.

What happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas? Ronaldo can't do better than the Palms?

That school shooting bit seemed pretty heavy-handed for South Park. The Cartman not liking Black Panther story line was funnier.

I really hope that Disney/Marvel finds a way to bring the universes back together. Maybe in Infinity Wars 2 part of resolving that storyline introduces the XMen back into the timeline somehow.
Since the First Class reboot, I prefer the X-Men movies to the Marvel universe (except for Apocalypse which kind of sucked). I wish they would have left them alone.

Kaplan’s take on the ALDS roster is interesting. 11 pitchers, 4 IF, 2 catchers, 2 DH, and 6 OF (including Straw for PR situations). No Peacock or LMJ. Not much to quibble with honestly - we’ll see if Hinch wants to go lighter on P for the 5 game series.
SpoilerHow might the Astros construct their ALDS lineup? Here’s our best guess given everything we know through 158 games.
Starting pitchers (4)
RHP Justin Verlander
RHP Gerrit Cole
LHP Dallas Keuchel
RHP Charlie Morton....
Relief pitchers (7)
RHP Roberto Osuna
RHP Ryan Pressly
RHP Collin McHugh
RHP Héctor Rondón
RHP Josh James
LHP Tony Sipp
RHP Joe Smith...
Catchers (2)
Martín Maldonado
Brian McCann (L)...
Infielders (4)
1B Yuli Gurriel
2B José Altuve
3B Alex Bregman
SS Carlos Correa
...Outfielders (6)
CF/RF George Springer
RF/LF Josh Reddick (L)
LF Marwin González (S)
CF Jake Marisnick
LF Tony Kemp (L)
CF/RF Myles Straw...
Designated hitters (2)
Tyler White
Evan GattisI agree that if he can go LMJ will be on the roster. I still don't see them rostering James based on his inexperience. I think Harris is added for the ALCS and WS.

I've seen numerous people talk about Straw in the playoffs... is he even eligible?

MLB really needs to scrub that link, it's out of date. It came up on the old site before, I may have even cited it myself. Anyway, the rule for several years now has been that you only have to be in the organization on August 31 to be eligible. Mondesi, Jr made his MLB debut in the '15 World Series despite not being on the 40 man before then:
QuoteTo be eligible to be added to the World Series roster, a player has to have been in the organization as of Aug. 31, which Mondesi was. The Roayls then added Mondesi to the 40-man on Tuesday when they DFA'd Joba Chamberlain. Manager Ned Yost said Mondesi was added to the Royals’ World Series roster in part for insurance in case infielder Ben Zobristneeded to leave for the impending birth of his third child with his wife Julianna, who is due any day now. But Zobrist played all nine innings, and Mondesi got his shot anyway.

Damn right, he did. Redass Lasorda pinch hit for his pitcher in a scoreless game just to break up the streak. I have 2 or 3 copies of the Topps card

first mlb hit for straw. Too bad he can't steal with davis clogging the base ahead of him.
