A goal from open play! Quite good buildup leading to it too.

Yeah, sending down Jake instead of Kemp is interesting to me. Springer is now our only right hand hitting OF. Marwin is a switch hitter but much better from the left side. Jake is also a much better late inning defender/pinch runner option than Kemp. Kemp can play 2B which may be a factor especially right now with Correa out.
I think the hope would be that Ted starts hitting right away and the almost full time outfield becomes Tucker, Springer, and Reddick. Marwin would see his LF starts go way down and slot more into the utility role. I don't see where there is much playing time for Kemp which again makes me think that roster spot could be better used having Jake as a defensive replacement.
Certainly nothing is set in stone yet though and how these guys perform between now and the end of the season will weigh heavily into who ends up on the playoff roster.

Choo extended his on base streak to 45 tonight. The major league record is 84 games by Ted Williams. That's amazing to me - over half a season of getting on base every game. Tied for 2nd at 74 games are Joe DiMaggio and...another streak by Ted Williams. DiMaggio's streak started with a game with a walk but no hits, then his 56 game hitting streak, then a walk in the game where the hitting streak was broken, and then a 16 game hitting streak.

Why are so many people bringing up Neymar? Gabriel Jesus was the Brazilian involved.
They all look alike to some people I guess
-
Wow, I never thought Belgium could hold them to just 1
-
It's a surprise when they don't score on those. Hazard should have laid that one out for Lukaku to run onto.
And Brazil almost have a tap in rebound on the other end
-
Wow. I think the reputation of Brazil and specifically Neymar are starting to work against them

Yeah, that's a pk
-
That was just stupid. Neymar had the ball in the box. How about, you know, trying to get a shot off?
-
Great defending there. Lukaku coming at you 1-on-1 in the box has to be a little frightening

Hmm, Sterling was a yard offside and not that far from where Dele made his run. I think Sweden could make a case that he influenced the play.
