  1. One from the regional and one from the super right?  Or did the TSU coach take another job?

It's kind of the opposite of the Astros in the playoffs last year where the two teams they knocked out fired their managers.

i like to think i know this team inside and out, but i did not see this coming.  to me, when on, mchugh seemed like a soft contact guy who could bulldog his way to a k when he needed to.  but in this adjusted role, i think they said he had 10k in his last 4ip leading up to yesterday.  we're winning, so i would say don't change a thing, but i would definitely put him in the peacock grouping of guys you put in the 7th inning when you're leading, and don't take him out until you absolutely need to.

no reason he couldn't do what morty or mccullers did last postseason (although they generally have nastier stuff).  i think i like mchugh's mental makeup as much as anyone this side of verlander.

I thought they should have been using him in that role in last year's playoffs.  This year I expect there will be very few playoff innings not thrown by Verlander, Cole, Morton, Keuchel, McCullers, Peacock, McHugh, and Devenski.

Starters tend to see the k rate go up when they move to the bullpen and he's always had decent strikeout stuff.  He had 12 in his very first start for us in Seattle.

i got this working in chrome and ITV is the fucking supermodel of studio shows henrik larsson, slavan bilic, england fans going full aggy, southgate apparently studied NFL blocking schemes - i mean WTF? - the graphics and analysis imrpovement over forx is measured in parsecs.

english host: "now come on slavan don't rain our parade just yet"

bilic: looks under the desk and under the chairs.... "where is the trophy?"

QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT with comedy value icing.

Interesting about the blocking schemes.  I read something about Southgate studying NBA plays to get ideas for movement to get players free in the box on set pieces.

  4. If Portugal and Spain win by identical scorelines, all tie breakers would be even until fair play.  Portugal so far has two yellow cards to Spain's one.

If teams remain tied through all the above tiebreakers, it’s time to look at their disciplinary records in the tournament: A yellow card takes one point off your total, an indirect red (the result of being shown a second yellow card) is three points off, a straight red is four points off, and if you get a yellow and a direct red it’s worth five points off your total. The team with the highest total points remaining is the one that advances.

If fair play ends up tied, they'll draw lots for the group.
