  1. So I went and looked at an Orioles board and man is it depressing.  They have a thread comparing this year to that '88 team.

There's also the fact that Chris Davis was on pace for the worst season in the fangraphs database.  They've recently said they're benching him though so I guess he won't play enough to set the record.

Jeez, the 1988 team was the one that started 0-21, right?

Correct.  Angelos probably still won't trade Machado and Britton.  They're due to go on a run any day now.

  3. 10 in a row!  We have a chance for an undefeated road trip tomorrow and a chance to match our longest winning streak from last year.

Does anyone know the longest undefeated road trip in mlb history?  They've been talking about how even 9-1 would be the franchise best for a 10 game trip but I can't imagine there have been many 10-0 or better trips by anybody.

How do you define dominated? Appearances? Wins? Championships?

Yes?  Appearances count but it's better to win games when you get there and of course championships have to weigh the most.  I'd rather be Stanford with 16 appearances, 2 championships, 3 runner ups, and a .580 winning percentage than FSU with 22 appearance, no titles, 3 runner ups, and a .397 winning percentage.

Put Stanford in there and half the teams are PAC-12? 5 of 8 Pacific coast? No way.

Arizona is not on the Pacific coast.  Historically, college baseball has been dominated by schools west of the Mississippi (even moreso if you include LSU which sits on the east bank).  I'd give Stanford the last spot.  The only other team I can see with an argument is Okie State.
