Aggy dipshits lost their best receiver from last year right? Noah?

Terrance Brooks sucked. Dude got burned deep repeatedly in the last spring game he played before transferring.

And I personally know Georgia fans who actually believed they were better off after Carson Beck got hurt lol. They overtly hated that motherfucker

I wouldn't say they were wrong

  2. Just caught the penalties and that was...something.  3-2 in 7 rounds.

Felt bad for the Swedish keeper skying it over with the chance to win in the 5th.  And maybe worse for the 18 year old who also skied it in the 7th to end it.  She looked like she wanted to both laugh and cry.

McLane, meanwhile, counters that Crane tanked the team, which lost more than a hundred games each in 2012 and 2013, to damage CSN Houston and evade an additional payment of at least $25 million to McLane had the network reached its financial projections.

Not sure you could tell any difference from when Drayton/Purpura were trying to win

Currently in ruralish Brazil (Rio Branco) visiting my wifes family. This place was a Bolsonaro hot bed, including most of her family. They have nothing but venom towards Trump after this past 2 weeks. Him trying to interfere with Brazilian politics/economics/social media regulation is backfiring and actually garnering large support behind Lula. Dumb idiot.

Who could have predicted it, eh?

In the last round, they specifically shored up incumbents because the Rs thought they reached the limits of their gerrymandering in Texas. To do this, they will have to make seats more competitive. If they believed there were 5 seats to be gained, they absolutely would have done that in 2020.

TFG has demonstrated a significant disregard to any and all risks. That’s how you end up with Herschel Walker winning the R nomination in Georgia. He’s requesting that several of the R incumbents walk the plank and they are hoping it doesn’t break. I hope they all end up drowning in the ocean.

Yeah, if Texas goes through with this it will backfire bigly.  2 seats flipped in 2018 without Rs trying to spread their majorities more thinly.

maybe they can check in with Comfort, where the sirens worked wonderfully to prevent loss of life in the same event.  A place that has struggled with such luck in the past.

Given the number of stream/creeks/rivers in the US that rely on such technology - maybe they can check in with other jurisdictions, too.

Or no - because they are loud and offensive to the know it all locals that can't be bothered to accept money from a _________ president for such things

But Comfort was also miles away from the flash flooding that overtook the camps and didn’t experience the cresting of the river flooding until after the terrifying rush of water in the pitch black early morning hours hit cabins. Many Comfort residents were already awake and aware of the rising water by the time the sirens sounded.

Dead of night vs daylight had a huge impact imo.

I don't even know what I'm arguing here.  Yes, there should be sirens.  They would have saved lives.  Yes Abbott and many of the locals have responded as buffoons, ghouls, or worse.

It's just the idea that there must be someone to blame and the government could have saved almost everyone rings false to me.  It reads as coping, lashing out in anger, etc.

These were the highest floodwaters in anyone's living memory that came up in the dead of night at the start of a holiday weekend.  How many people were drinking that night?  Many people probably thought they were on high enough ground.  Cut the death toll in half, which is about the best case scenario I can imagine, and it would have still been the deadliest disaster in Texas of our lifetimes.

Every disaster has multiple failure points, any one of which being removed prevents the disaster/lessens its toll.  Could have taken all other failure points out of the mix by having river flood warning sirens.  But they didn't.  And the whole world knows why.  Some people are angry about that.  That's shitty, because ALL people should be angry about it.

Tell me more.  The certainty around this point I just don't get.  Maybe it's a coping mechanism against the powerlessness of man before nature, I don't know.

Oh, I heard you cryin' loud
    All the way across town
You've been searching for that someone, and it's me out on the prowl
As you sit around feeling sorry for yourself

    Well don't get lonely now
    And dry your whinin' eyes
I'm just roaming for the moment, sleazin' my backyard, so don't get
So uptight, you've been thinking about ditching me

No time to search the world around
'Cause you know where I'll be found
    When I come around
