  1. I work next door to their station. (Well, I rarely go into the office.) She does look good.
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong . . . weren't there multiple videos posted of A&M playing Mo Bamba at Kyle before our game?
  3. I'm curious what sport(s) he ended up doing in college, and where did he go (if you care to disclose)? 10.4 sec 100 m is a high D1 T&F number, and would be close to medaling in the SEC.
  4. I may have misunderstood your response -- this is not an incremental improvement on an existing product, this is a new product from a new (ish) company with some compelling loudspeaker IP.
  5. 'twas right, plus The Pirate (RIP):
  6. Awesome human being. Horrible cancer -- it got my Dad.
  7. Sorry, my bad -- GE Cafe. My last house had KitchenAid. It was equally flaky.
  8. The only warranty I've ever purchased is American Home Shield. Honestly, it has paid for itself. (The biggest payoff was a total replacement of a wall oven at $3K+.) They fixed our LG washer/dryer, so there are some techs out there. They (AHS) do get fussy from time to time, though. It's not always pleasant jumping through the hoops.
  9. One caveat, which probably applies to most big box brands, is our recent experience with KitchenAid: we built our house in 2015 and loaded it up with KitchenAid Cafe series appliances. Every single one failed, some within the warranty period. It's nuts.
  10. I often wonder what tourists staying at The Driskill think about the location. We spent our wedding night at the Stephen F. Austin and that was bad enough. (Not the night or the hotel, the location.)
  11. I'm all for it. Guys like Fauci spent decades in public service, with no malice whatsoever. Donald Trump's witch hunt fantasies are too much to risk.
  12. I haven't been on Dirty Sixth in several years, do they have drink vendors selling to people on the streets or is it "buy inside and take it to go"? (I honestly don't remember where it's legal to have an open container in Austin. Mine are open in my house or in a bar.)
  13. I'm thinking the Blakes kids aren't dumb. (I know, athletes, but Stanford and Vandy? And Jaylen graduated from Duke before transferring to Stanford.)
  14. Depends on the chipotle. Chiptle morita is dark, chipotle meco isn't. (I've never done a taste test, I just buy whatever.) Morita: Meco:
  15. I think that may be where Tulo eventually got his degree.
  16. I had a 2002 Expedition that ate its transmission in about 120K miles. It's not a new phenomenon.
  17. I have a 33 YO stepdaughter who peppers her language with more "like"(s) than commas. I imagine she's terrific on job interviews.
  18. Saw it tonight. I'd say good, not great. I thought it dragged a bit, or was maybe just a little disjointed. I was distracted by some of the visual production techniques -- hard pans and zooms that would abruptly stop, etc. I will say the late scene where you see the hands in shadow through a window was a great nod to a visual everyone inherently knows, and that whole last sequence was fantastic.
  19. Went tonight to the Village location in Austin, I didn't notice any dropoff in service.
  20. Or maybe, and bear with me here, they might want to aim for a slightly higher ethical standard AND win? It's not an either/or situation, despite what people like you seem to believe it is.
  21. The athleticism of the average high-D1 skill player astonishes me. My kid was all-district in the 100 m and I don't think he ever broke 11 sec. He's about 5'8" 155#. Couldn't play football if his life depended on it. These guys are running a half sec faster and carrying 50-75 lb more. It's terrifying. Are they Marquise Goodwin or even X? No. The vast majority aren't, and yet they're still crazy athletic while playing a violent sport.
  22. No, but the more astute strategy would be to assume they would, and thus replenish the court prior to that date. A couple of years of legacy is not "worth" a few decades of control, despite what RBG might have thought. And here we are.
