  1. That one seems to be a rare but real side effect for young men. (The symptom, not commenting on that particular athlete.)
  2. That sounds like a great way to ruin a game watching experience. Kinda like how fantasy football ruins football.
  3. Wait, there is such a thing as a "second half spread"? #notagambler
  4. Of course, data ARE is correct, but I think the alternative is becoming engrained in the language.
  5. Cool with calling me an asshole? (Just kidding, I get the gray areas.)
  6. Sure, it happens, more to specific demographics than others, but I'm just testing the wind here and I don't believe the claim. Call me an asshole.
  7. I'm saying vaccine injury is incredibly rare and I don't believe you were injured. I think you're an anti-vaxxer throwing shit on the wall.
  8. I agree. My daughter lives in a dumpy 4-BR rental house just north of campus, and between classes, work, and extracurriculars (that have nothing to do with UT) she knows almost nobody she didn't already know in HS. It is what it is.
  9. Nope, just the Austin show.
  10. I don't know who you are, and I don't know how you know me, but VAERS is not a sound resource. The CDC's official stance: Anyone — patients, family members, healthcare providers and vaccine manufacturers — can submit a report to VAERS. Healthcare providers and vaccine manufacturers are legally required to report certain events after vaccination. A report to VAERS does not mean that a vaccine caused an adverse event
  11. Don't think so, I can ask.
  12. Yeah? The US has approximately 75M people under the age of 18. Influenza mortality is ~ 0.5 deaths per 100,000 in that group (actually quite a bit higher for the 0-4 age group, but let's go with 0.5). That implies 375 deaths per year under the age of 18.
  13. Just for perspective, KenPom has UTenn at 10, us at 23, Marquette at 25 and Ole Miss out of the top 25.
  14. No way. An 18-team conference playing 8 conference games could lead to odd results? Knock me over with a feather.
  15. Say what you will about Jeff Sagarin's methods, but they aren't subjective. His strength of schedule rankings are: 1. Georgia 2. UCLA 3. Florida 4. Alabama 5. LSU
  16. Oh man that was such a great setup off the glass for Tre. To echo Sark -- there seems to be some good culture on this team, that could have easily just been a layup or dunk.
  17. Just got home -- Tre OK? He's not on the floor.
  18. Not sure your point, but Sark said in his PC that 9 current starters played in the game 3 years ago, and 11 current players made the trip and played. I'm not too worried, especially with an 11 AM start, which to some degree mitigates the moonshine effect.
  19. I have SEC Network -- that gets me SEC+? I'd love to drop ESPN+.
