  1. Why? Sex (and sexuality/gender) is protected class. That's why it's discriminatory to take action against someone because of their sexuality/gender (among many other things). Did you ever take a fucking civics class?
  2. I missed this gem -- drag shows are meant to piss off liberals?

Doesn't hurt to have near virtuoso talent at 2 3 all 4 spots.
  4. UNC has better guard play, though, at least until we rotated positions a week or so ago.
  5. He has the combination of wit, intelligence, and don't give a fuck that all the greats have.
  6. Not to mention the fact that (as is shown on the chart above) Obama issued the FEWEST executive orders per year of any POTUS back through Nixon. Any of us who pointed that out got total crickets in response. The modern American right wing: absolutely the most incurious, unthinking political demographic in our history.
  7. I didn't realize it was a small chain. Apparently they sold (sell?) them at Antone's Night Club, too.
  8. One game at Fresno State, lost to Utah in the round of 64.
  9. And, no tip. But based on my previous experience with their sammiches, I'm not expecting much. Antone's Subs suck ass, too.
  10. Yup, I didn't even know there was a Broadway reboot. That cast is amazing.
  11. When I was a student the Texas Union theater showed PORN. Nobody cared. The university should allow drag shows, Young Republican gatherings, square dances, Spanish for Gringos classes, hackey sack tournaments, basically anything that isn't discriminatory or constitutes a hate crime. Banning drag shows is discriminatory.
  12. Ridiculous, not to mention the reduction in 1A (and other) rights is not wholly related to organized protests. Regardless, if you think Abbott's henchmen are going to issue permits for (say) anti-Israel protests you're off your fucking rocker.
  13. Not at all. A university should be a place where students are exposed to a variety of viewpoints, where free speech is not only tolerated but encouraged. We're already lost.
  14. Both are short of 5 liters but are reasonably rounded to that value.
  15. A snare drum would be better, but most important (and it's exactly what we did) would be a good teacher who knows traditional rudiments and techniques. Start the kid out right and the sky's the (potential) limit. Let them bang around like a muppet and they're already behind the 8-ball.
  16. Apparently, HEB is trying to get into the elite coffee game. Only $27.70/lb! Good luck with that. (They also have a Kona variety that's just a bit over $73/lb, but it's "out of stock" at my location.)
  17. That's awful. I saw the story on KXAN, but as you later commented they reported that the guy was on a motorcycle. Did he try to cross the highway or was he hit from behind? I hope the margs helped.
  18. Does he need money for alimony?
  19. I see it, but that might not mean much. It's a bunch of drums.
  20. This team has a crap ton of fight in it.
  21. Great school. A buddy of mine went there. Nothing but praise from him.
  22. Part of the drum collection at the studio my kid is recording at:
  23. I'm very pro-Marshall, but . . . does every one of those amps bring something different to the sonic table?
  24. Got some promo tix to Sturgill + Skynyrd in Georgetown 4/6 (Two Step Inn Festival). I've never seen Sturgill, I'm looking forward to it.
