  1. PTSD. They forget anything good to bolster the narrative. Our lines were utter trash. Arch tried to do too much. Too many penalties, again. Horrible fucking game, and it was against IQ80 Billy.
  2. Can't make that one. Just got home from a drive to El Paso and two added days in Marfa and Big Bend to see them open for The Strokes. Fortunately, I missed most of this shitass game. The Strokes were "good". Their sound was overly compressed and Julian Casablancas is a fucking weirdo. The gals did a great job of making 2,500 new fans. I heard nothing but rave comments at intermission. The Strokes: Die Spitz:
  3. That's like saying a nice lip gloss on Listeater would make her hot. The answer is "no". There is no color that would make a Cybertruck look anything better than butt ugly.
  4. He literally said that if one wanted to wear a beard they should join the Rangers.
  5. You might as well dream of a 3-way with Salma & Penelope.
  6. It's a restaurant. It's on Anderson Lane so it's close to our house. We've had good brunch there before. That's it.
  7. I'll get your approval next time.
  8. Yes, one of my HS friends did her masters on French horn at North Texas and made the Army band. She said the quality of musicianship in those groups is off the charts.
  9. I think a ribeye Philly with provolone and grilled onions on a great roll is damn near the perfect sammich.
  10. I don't think anyone should view top brass' attendance at that event as implying even tacit approval. They received travelling orders and they followed them. It's in the job description.
  11. That snare drummer that Hegseth hit with the axe wasn't just any old schlub. That was Jeff Prosperie, probably the greatest snare drummer in the last few decades if not longer. He won the solo competitions at DCI, DCA, and PAS, and did his masters and doctoral work at University of North Texas, where he taught the drumline. He also taught Phantom Regiment's drumline for years. Nice choice of targets, Hegseth. (By the way, Prosperie is suing FOX News over the incident.)
  12. I can't understand how these guys have so little self-awareness that they don't see what's coming. At least as far as Chapelle and Burr go, they're rich, and this is just going to make them a little more rich with horribly tarnished reputations.
  13. We wanted to try something different last night, and landed on Cover 3. I don't know how highly people think of it, but if the answer is "high", it's overrated. My burger was a solid 4 out of 10, although the fries weren't bad. I know I've had a good brunch there so maybe the takeaway is "don't order the burger".
  14. Yes, it's been a month or so since Gumbo passed away and I still expect to see her when I walk into "her" room. We still have Pluto, my arch nemesis (and little buddy), but there's deffinitely a void that hasn't filled in yet.
  15. I miss the Wankel Mazdas.
  16. Yeah, this year will be my first at COTA for F1, but I saw a Ferrari event there . . . holy shit. Twelve thimbles pumping away at 12 krpm is insanely loud. Multiply by # of vehicles.
  17. I don't think I've ever seen one in flight, but that engine has to be incredbly loud, right?
  18. Man, the things I heard . . . what an embarrassment.
  19. Why exactly was Rory the target of all that vitriol? He seems a decent guy. Then again, I'm a libtard.
  20. I'll check it out, thanks.
  21. *buttholes
