Ace Frehley - RIP
Shit. A friend of mine plays in Ace's band. I came to know that guy through totally different channels, but I was an absolute KISS fanatic in middle school. Still one of my favorite bands. Guess I have a phone call to make.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
It feels like LSU 2025 is opposite of LSU 2024. I'm not sure how a team flips its "strengths" so quickly.

Trump’s America
Yeah, I'm sure the American consumer is gung ho to drive vehicles that get 8 mpg. Imagine a current vehicle that gets 24 mpg, driven 12K miles per year -- that's 500 gallons, or roughly $1500. Bump that to 1500 gallons and we're at $4500, or a $3000 hickey. PER YEAR. Multiplied by probably 2-3 to account for the average household. Yes, please cut the price of the vehicle by say $3000 and then cost me $3000 per year for this "benefit". (Not to mention the price of vehicles won't drop a dime.) These people are so fucking stupid.

Will UT Bend the Knee?
It is going to be monumentally embarrassing when the results come back Brown -- deny Dartmouth -- deny MIT -- deny Arizona -- deny Penn -- deny USC -- deny UT -- accept UVa -- deny Vanderbilt -deny When UT accepts, even without an announcement, Trump will shout it from the rooftops.

Turnstile - Never Enough
LMAO. Did you make that or just find it?

Who's been covid vaxxed? Stand up and be counted.
They don't call it science fiction for no good reason.

Hey, he said "slave", not the n-word.

Perini's sure is proud of that steak rub.

Will UT Bend the Knee?
Well yeah, because I pulled down the class average and moved the curve.

Will UT Bend the Knee?
Yeah, maybe they'll just take it out of the curriculum.

Will UT Bend the Knee?
The hardest class I took at UT was Nonlinear Acoustics. I'm trying to figure out how Greg and the boys will inject MAGA-friendly topics into that course, but I'm drawing a blank. I'm sure they'll figure something out.

Share Your Music (it probably sucks but that’s not why we do it)
I do believe we have unintentionally hit our temporal brick wall.

Task (HBO)
I think Ruffalo has been fantastic and I have no problem with a second season featuring him and nobody else from this cast on a new case. Particularly Martha Plimpton.

How do you not pick a color named "Downy Chick"?

Texas Basketball 2025-26: It’s Miller Time
Miller has a bit of a Sark vibe, which gruntles me.

I don't doubt Trump is too stupid to understand the far-reaching implications of doubling the price of NdFeB and SmCo magnets, but he's about to find out. Won't make a difference, but the implications on US industry will be massive, including my company.

Will UT Bend the Knee?
I bought football season tickets for a dozen years thru 2005 (and several years before that on the student/employee plan), but never contributed to the Foundation, because UT is rich as shit and my donations went to my undergrad school. Magically my season ticket application for 2006 "got lost in the mail", so oh well, guess who bought a big-screen TV and never looked back? Fuck UT.

Somewhat large birthday dinner (10 ppl)
Full disclosure: I've never eaten at a Luby's. My wife, who was born and raised here (Austin HS Maroons holla) got dragged there by her dad so much that she never even wanted to go, and I wasn't about to argue. Our semi-equivalent when I was a boy was a Sirloin Stockade -- obviously tilted more towards "steak" -- and I'm still having flashbacks.

Well that was mean.

That video makes me simultaneously very happy and very sad.- Concerts you are attending
How did I not know his band is now a 4-piece? I thought he toured as a trio. Who's the other guitar player?- Overrated Food Places
Well, I grew up not very far from KC and chili wasn't much of a thing in that part of the country, but yeah, it usually had beans in it. No doubt their 'q is always sauced, and it's a sweet sauce to boot. I just think the West African & Caribbean influences on Louisiana food are a little more legit, with the Creole city folk going with tomatoes and the boondock Cajun folk going without. Most likely I suspect that it was hard to get tomatoes out in the swamps, but that's conjecture. - Greatest song intros
