  1. You mean the people who pay taxes and do all the jobs white entitled fucks like you don't want to do? Be careful what you wish for.
  2. OK, let's not go overboard here.
  3. Far Out Lounge hate always cracks me up. I like the place.
  4. Haven't tried the Central Market dough, but I agree that the Trader Joe's product is lacking. Randalls has a better one.
  5. Team strummer. (Pun intended.) Pick all the way, all day.
  6. Jack Montesino
  7. That's not the way to do it. He needs a negotiated landing spot like Shaka & Marquette. Say, UTEP.
  8. It was also completely random in a topical sense.

We had our similarly sized rehearsal dinner at County Line. Don't do that. (Marriage is fine, dinner was very "eh".)
  10. Yeah, that was the HEB reference, I wasn't clear. I don't think Randalls sells it. (They sell Sargento but I haven't seen that particular product, it probably depends on the store.)
  11. Sure, but he wasn't the only one. My main point was that he threw better in a subset of the throws than anyone else. Which, to be honest, should have been expected. We know what he is (and isn't).
  12. HEB and Randalls both have shredded product if that's your jam. For block, Randalls has Tillamook and house brand (Lucerne). Otherwise, deli case.
  13. Just a reminder: Donald J. Trump thinks asylum seekers are people who have been released from mental institutions.
  14. Don't let @texasdago see that recipe.
  15. I was surprised how poor some of his competition was on the short and intermediate routes. And yes, some of them outshined him on the deep routes. Classic Ewers. Still, it seems the NFL types put a lot of value on those shorter throws and Quinn kicked ass on those. It's going to be an interesting draft.
  16. I didn't see The Brutalist. I thought TC was amazing as Dylan. Do y'all think Adrien Brody better in his role? I need to seek out that movie, I like Brody.
  17. I don't know anything about him. His monologue was terribly clumsy and unfunny. A couple of the later bits were OK. On balance, I thought it was a terrible SNL, and I see most of them. I don't think I pan them as a matter of habit. SNL definitely needs to move on from the nerdy suburban family schtick.
  18. Whoa, I didn't realize Adrian Quesada (Black Pumas) was nominated for Best Original Song! That's very cool.
  19. In breaking news, Halle Berry is still smokin' hot.
  20. Wagyu top round from HEB, cooked 80 minutes at 250 F, pulled, cranked the oven to 475 F and finished for 5 minutes. I brined it for 3 hours in a simple salt brine and then did a little salt/pepper on the surface. Best roast beef I've ever cooked.
  21. That was quite possibly the worst SNL show I've seen in years. Virtually none of it was funny.
  22. I think Ewers sneaks into the 2nd. From what I understand, scouts had Bond testing out better than Golden overall, despite Golden ripping off an insane 40. So, he might sneak into the 1st? No idea.
  23. How on god's green earth would we NOT be ranked above them? We weren't that far back, they've lost 4 straight (last count) and we've won 9 straight.
  24. Was Banks our only OL who ran?
