  1. It's a non-issue. Their crowing about crowd size, even if it's a record crowd size, ignores the thousands of Texas fans who will attend. There are not going to be 111K E. King Gills 12th-manning their boys to victory. As usual, Aggies are hyper-inflating a situation to their favor.
  2. Only bitches like you complain about two victories, pussy.
  3. Jesus Christ, this is why I routinely say I hate Texas fans. We beat OU 34-3 and Ewers went 20/29/199/1/1. We beat Arkansas 20-10 on the road in front of a crowd that would have preferred to lynch us given a few dozen ropes and a police escort 20/32/176/2/0. Shut up.
  4. What a crazy thing for Rich to say, but I get it: "I tried to play my best for her". I'm not sure I've ever been around a better musician.
  5. I remember when I laughed about how much memory an early hard drive had compared to a floppy disk.
  6. In all honesty, Sark and CDC and the players need to just shrug off these bullshit speakers. "Apparently they didn't feel like they could win on the field, and they didn't." Complaining about it would come across like LSU's histrionics over locker room AC.
  7. Sarcasm aside, the "but they're wearing helmets" defense would be used. Then we counter with "are our coaches or trainers or dudes on the bench wearing helmets?"
  8. I guarantee it will be well louder than 85 dBA on the bench, which is the (long term) OSHA standard for requiring hearing protection.
  9. Watching that JWhitt tackle that caused the fumble against TCU always gets me jacked up. He whiffed on his first attempt, got up, and ran the guy down from behind. Classic Whitt play.
  10. Rich's post from Facebook:
  11. Maybe A&M consistently sucks so bad that winning half their home games really does demonstrate a home field advantage? Oh, they are roughly as successful on the road? Well, carry on.
  12. Dang. The whole thing is inspirational, but this? Put that on the locker room wall.
  13. I'll admit to not having put much thought into it, but to me it seems it's totally a coach's perogative to choose his starters. Maybe listing him as "probable" is enough cover for not starting him, but it's an odd presumption that NOT playing him is only due to (undisclosed) injury.
  14. I don't know the terminology, but I don't see why he would have to rule him "out".
  15. Just to add to what a couple of other folks have already said -- we don't know if Sark plans to start Quinn. It's in the team's best interrest to create uncertainty.
  16. I woke up to a giant turd and medium sized pee pond in the dining room. Thanks, Gumbo.
  17. Yeah, in the 4th quarter. The early "passing" game set that up.
  18. I sold a house through one of those Realtors. The "guaranteed price" was such a lowball number that it was a non-starter. I just chose them because they moved a lot of houses. Probably wasn't my best home-selling experience.
