  1. Well, they do sometimes work on your ass muscles. Personally, I've always kept the boxers on.
  2. I will never understand how people who make millions of dollars per year get DUIs.
  3. 22-23: 2nd in the B12, Elite Eight run (taking over for Beard) 23-24: 7th in the B12, Round of 32 24-25: currently 11th in the SEC, tournament TBD This is a negative trajectory. I expect something like 8-10 in conference, so roughly 9th or so. Maybe an 8/9 seed if true? As I asked before, who is next year's Tre Johnson? He has a near 2 pt per game advantage on everyone else in scoring. He's surely gone. Next? This program isn't going anywhere good. We have no reason to keep RT around barring an epic tournament run, which isn't happening. We did the right thing and he will get paid.
  4. So who is next year's Tre Johnson?
  5. I'm not really sure that's true. We were eliminated in a Super on a total fluke play. We looked like warm ass the next year and he got canned. I doubt the previous year played that much into the decision. I think his terrible management of his staff, etc. probably had more to do with it.
  6. I just think it's going to come down to CDC's assessment of whether we can get better than where we are now. I don't personally see a reason for that to be the case, but it's a new era, so who knows. Fan engagement is plummeting, though, and that's a really bad indicator.
  7. Oof. It's the expectation of all teams in the Athletic Department. I don't understand why you're pushing back on this.
  8. Probably need to change "Envoy" to "Endeavor".
  9. I'm not going to be patient when we had the coach who could do it but he couldn't help fucking it up. The standard is the standard. Meet it or GTFO.
  10. Valerie is a great looking dog! Well done.
  11. I'm making meatball subs tonight. I have the meatballs figured out as well as the tomato/marinara sauce. It feels like meatballs, sauce, mozzarella and parmesan is a little lacking. Any recs on a relish that has worked for you in the past? I might just saute up some peppers and onions. Or fresh basil?
  12. I think Miley is a great singer, but that was not her most shining moment.

    Italian

Their carbonara was legit back at the old location. By my recollection it had neither onions or cream. I'm not so dogmatic about bolognese. Spinach seems unusual but I have seen Italians put a bit of cream in. I'm sure plenty balk at that. I'd prefer pappardelle for sure.
  14. Brittany Howard was phenomenal.
  15. Eh, he was good when he got the ball, but he just didn't get many carries, for a variety of reasons. Bad knees, fumbleitis, bad decisions off the field.
  16. Years ago CDC laid out the standard for UT sports: top 10 in the country in every sport. I agree that (for instance) a 12 seed making a run to the Elite Eight is not the standard. Is it laudable? Sure. But I would argue that the standard should be on average a top 3 seed, top 4 at the worst. Certainlly not EVERY year but pretty regularly. Whatever "composite" seed over time would be among the top 10 in the country.
  17. Purity Test # 2,487,343
  18. Hey John, the word is "its".
  19. The look in Belushi's eyes right before he dances is chilling. Massive talent.
  20. Dang, y'all need to check out Brittany Howard's solo on the SNL 50 show, a duet with Miley on "Nothing Compares 2 U". Just an absolutely beautiful Prince-like creamy Tele master class. Wow. She sang great, too. Miley was good, the arrangement was oddly staccato, but whatever.
  21. If he did, Tina Fey would be the obvious choice.
  22. Sabrina Carpenter did a great job in deference to Paul. I didn't know she had that in her. She sang well.
