Charlie Kirk got ded, Erika Kirk grifts in place
Not that I think you disagree, but that kind of comment cannot be walked back. He was very clear. These vermin believe this shit.

“‘SOS’ is the best pop song ever written,” he once told The Independent. “It has all those Swedish folk elements that tap into whatever elemental musical self we have”.
I can't imagine playing such meh music for 6 decades. I mean, they had their moments, but it just doesn't look remotely fun at this point. I fully understand that artists and athletes are driven by more than money but once you have enough money it had better be fun.

I had forgotten about Charlie Kirk's finger pointing at the Austin fire chief and blaming him for some of the Kerr County flood deaths. The SHORTEST line one can draw between Camp Mystic and the City of Austin is over 100 miles, but that doesn't matter, black guy responsible.

What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
Allsup's would be awesome airport food.

That was really uncalled for.

Opera, you say? Truck references would have been awesome:

El Paso advice
Thanks for all the tips, I booked a night at Paso del Norte. I love those classic large hotels, my wife, not so much, so I get to stay in a teepee in Terlingua another night. If you hear of a couple getting eaten by mountain lions in Big Bend, that was us. Go Arch.

Best Sad Song (fuck I love a sad song)
Holy shit. That Moreland tune . . . EDIT: look at every face in that crowd. THAT'S a song that connects. Everyone in the audience had lived that. Wow. I need to check out more of his music.

Best Sad Song (fuck I love a sad song)
Some of this thread seems to not match my expectations, but whatever. I think this song is brilliant. It captures the essence of a brief affair and its permanent consequences but it paints it all in the context of every day life. The dude is a genius:

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
Holy hell, we don't play Florida for 3 weeks and they're turning into what we expected. Yeah, if Arch plays like he did yesterday that's gonna kill our season, but it's not as if most of those were forced errors. This mostly comes down to fixing his fucked head. We'll see if that's possible, but this is not a talent or coaching issue, not by a long shot.

That is good, thanks.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
I assume anyone who doesn't know what the yips are never played golf. I was a below average golfer, but even with that meager game there where periods where basic skills just evaded me, and it was definitely in my head.

Best Sad Song (fuck I love a sad song)
So you're mad nobody replied to your PR thread about "the blues" and this chick (who seems quite talented), so you post a link that doesn't appear to link a sad song?

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
Then why did you assert this? Enough with this bullshit yips mental shit. That shit is okay for isolated stretch in a game, not 3 game stretches especially vs bad competition. It wouldn't shock me if he has some injury that isn't helping, but that guy is clearly in his own head. See (for instance) Chuck Knoblach.

El Paso advice
My guess is that midnight would be the return leg. I'm not calling a rideshare for a block, though. The driver would probably shank us.

El Paso advice
That's the one I was aiming for. Is it a safe walk at night? My wife & I. I am a very large, threatening man. Maybe.

El Paso advice
We're going to a concert in El Paso on October 1. It's at the Abraham Chavez Theater, in an area with nearby museums, a ballpark, etc. There's also a nearby Greyhound bus station, which seems suboptimal. Anyway, we'd like to stay within walking distance of the theater but not if that area is some dystopian hellscape. If it IS a dystopian hellscape, where should we look for hotels within reasonable Uber/Lyft distance? Theater is blue marker, nearest (apparently) decent hotel is red marker, part of the Marriott chain:

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
So no Wisner, Moore, January, almost no Baxter (1 snap), and Simmons was limited. Who am I leaving out? Oh yeah: Arch looked like ass on toast. What a day.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
Gracias. Second stupid question: I know Simmons had an elbow brace on before the game. texassports lists him as a starter but with zero stats. Did he play at all? In my defense, I had one eye on the game, one on the food I was preparing for family and several guests, and one eye on my beer(s). That's right, 3 eyes.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
I checked two box scores and couldn't find my answer, so I'm going to the experts: how many penalties did we commit yesterday?

What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
Sounds like someone created an alternative logo. Can you post it on this thread? Not that the city would ever capitulate.
