  1. Seriously, that's at least the third brain fart that guy has had this season. Horns down, tongue, this technical. I'm sure I'm missing a few. Grow up, Rodney.
  2. Hope you don't think that was the flop I was referring to
  3. That was a soccer-worthy flop.
  4. 94 NET is toying with 35 NET. This is fine.
  5. The color commentator sounds more capable of coaching us than RT.
  6. Why is Pope laughing after he committed a stupid foul?
  7. So, we're on track to score . . . 30?
  8. The problem is that it affects people who DIDN'T vote against the greater good.
  9. How has that woman given birth to 7 kids? I mean, she's in the yoga business and whatnot, but that's pretty amazing.
  10. I'm curious, if the agent were to get a 3.6% cut, would it all go to him or would some of it go to his broker/office?
  11. I've been saying for well over a decade that the impetus behind this rise of the far right is white American terror about being replaced as the majority, and I was hardly the first. I got all kinds of pushback. Hmmm.
  12. Yes, because up until now the US military had no charter to deter, fight or win wars.
  13. Oh, sorry. I thought you were talking about X.

spaceflight's business model seems hard to crack. Peruse their "roster". I can assure you that there is at least one band on that roster which has nothing to do with the company.
  15. $30K? I mean, I see why the airline thinks they should take a shot, but that wouldn't cover most a la carte medical bills after a crash like that.
  16. Which, to be fair, is pretty much like punching Billy Corgan.
  17. I phrased that wrong on the covered call: you can still lose it all EXCEPT the premium received for the call, which you pocket.
  18. Long put + long stock = long call. They're synthetic equivalents. Yeah, the put itself is bearish, but it's a hedge against the long stock. Selling a covered call is capping the upside for income, not hedging the downside. You can still lose it all on the covered call. Not on a long put + long stock. I'm just curious if there are papers studying (for instance) the efficacy of X% stops versus long puts on long stock. Probably not the right thread.
