Anyone else get out on the water this fine weekend? BTW, for the convo up a page or two, Centurionās have 5 ballasts, 2 of which are ram fill and other three are pump. Thereās an option for a bow bag and on some models, a transom bag, that are pump as well. So if for some reason you donāt want to use the ram for wakeboarding, you donāt have to. Although theyāre all easily adjustable, so I donāt know why you wouldnāt use the ram. Iāve only surfed behind mine so far, but the wave on this boat is so highly adjustable that I seriously doubt it isnāt just as great for wakeboarding as it is for surfing. And no, Centurion and Santeās are not made in the same factory. Their factories are on opposite sides of the country (CA/FL). However, as of 2015, Centurion is majority-owned by the same parent company as Sante, Correct Craft. Since that purchase, Centurion has seen a number of improvements. It is not any cheaper than Sante, unless youāre counting gph where itās roughly 50% more efficient. Although Iām just a beginner and not yet a wave snob, I think my friendās G23 makes just as nice a wave as my Ri237, but whenever people are debating the best surf wave, Centurion is usually at the top of the majorityās list. As for winterizing, as of 2020, PCM has made it so damn easy thereās no reason to not: Pull those three hoses, drop them in the hull, and done. (Already pulled in this pic.)
