  1. I got the rabies vaccine before I mobilized overseas. I don’t know about the cost because it was one of a litany of shots I got and the company paid for it all, but it wasn’t anything special in terms of pain or aftereffects.
  2. I’ve spent a good bit of time at both and I gotta say this is wrong. They’re both good but like posted above, Brighton is the local boarder’s hangout.
  3. So what kinda kickbacks are you getting for this ad? looks like a nice enough place for a haircut.
  4. I’m a green belt. At my company it’s total bullshit. You fudge some numbers to make yourself look good on your annual performance review, everyone has a party about it. Nobody even bothers getting into the details of did it really make a difference.
  5. This is a really good early season. Yesterday Breck was boasting about how it’s the earliest they’ve ever opened all their terrain.
  6. I skied breck Monday and am at vail for yesterday and today. Coverage is good for this early in the season and it looks like vail has 3” of powder it got overnight for me to play in today.
  7. I was on Badalona in August and the bare titties were out in full force ☺️
  8. You can easily fill five full days in Barcelona If you want. I’ve spent about six weeks there myself off and on this past year El Nacional is a great recommendation, I’ve been there before and I only had a couple of cocktails but the food at the various restaurants looked and smelled great. For tapas in Eixample one place I wouldn’t miss is Cerveseria Catalana. Just excellent tapas there, I’ve been there multiple times. It’s a great date spot as well. Another cool spot nearby in the Gracia neighborhood is Plaza Del Sol. It’s surrounded by restaurants and bars with patios and lots of young people hang out there in the evenings. I’m sure you know this, but dinner in Spain is typically from 8 at the earliest until 11. 9 pm is prime time for dinner. Unless y’all wanna eat alone don’t go out for dinner at six or seven. I wasn’t too big on the cocktails myself while I was there, usually I was either drinking wine / cava or Estrella on draft.
  9. Anyone done Bariloche before? Thinking of planning a guys ski trip for late July / Early August. My buddy has platinum elite ambassador status with Marriott so we were thinking of booking at the Marriott property there and then heading up to Cerro Catedrale for some time on the slopes. Would be interested in hearing from anyone who’s been that way. How was it, where did you stay, how did you manage transportation, etc.
  10. Hmmm. Yea the Sierra does get pretty windy. Bummer man.
  11. Mammoth just announced 12-18”. You should be in for a good early season powder day Holla!! That’s something to give thanks for.
  12. Ummm yess this sounds perfect hahaha. I am definitely going to do that. Thanks for the recommendation.
  13. Right, Union station not union square! I loved the location and the views, very excited to move in down there and just in time for snowboarding season.
  14. I checked out cherry creek, golden triangle, downtown, and LoHi. Ended up getting a place a block from union square. Pretty stoked on it.
  15. the chicken was raped. Completely unacceptable.
  16. Fuck beagles. They are hunting dogs not pets.
  17. When I was working in California in 2016 Monterey county passed an initiative banning wastewater injection, which essentially would have shut down all oilfield production operations in the county since the WOR is so high on the fields out there. The oil company lawyers got to work and the decision ended up getting reversed. I imagine the same would happen in Colorado after legal challenges. https://www.thecalifornian.com/story/news/2018/01/02/judge-issues-ruling-measure-z/998276001/
  18. Jeeze man that’s tough. Thoughts and Prayers man.
  19. So I’ve been kicking around the idea of moving to Denver and I want to be central in the best spot to live in a walkable nice area with top restaurants and bars, basically the best spot to meet fine young professional women. I’m a 31 year old single well paid engineer. From what I’ve been able to gather Lower Highland is the best neighborhood in the city for this?
  20. Any early season snow forecasts popping up?? I wanna see how things are looking.
  21. In 2016 I was considering getting an mba to make a career change. Except I realized I already was making what the average Stanford grad does. Now in 2018 I’m making approximately double that. BS mech E MS petroleum E.
  22. I would say that technical / science masters are still worth the money if you’re STEM inclined. Pretty funny though when I went to my engineering MS graduation ceremony I was one of like five people out of 800 or so with a Caucasian background the rest were Indian or Asian (mostly Chinese). This was at USC Los Angeles.
