  1. Guessing we will be seeing that big Penix energy at the Alamo
  2. How about this:
  3. SIAP but was looking at the final rankings in terms of the top 12 given the coming expanded playoffs. I was somewhat surprised to note that it is more spread out among the confernces that what I would assume (and, without bothering to look it up, what I’m guessing has been the case in years past). Here’s the breakdown: Big 10 -3 SEC - 3 Pac 12 - 3 Big 12 - 2 ACC - 1 Seems like less SEC and more Pac 12 than I would figure. Makes sense in terms of the thought that the SEC overall is down this year. However also seems to show the Pac 12 is more up than I think most give them credit for. Thinking Big 12 is down slightly from what they might normally have(?) …maybe not. ACC is exactly what I figure they always are (just Clemson).
  4. I do think it could be great for the Pac 12 in terms of visibility and competitiveness
  5. Not that you ever “need” an excuse but, for those not going to the game, an Alamo Bowl in San Antonio is a perfect excuse to make those NEISD recipe enchiladas…
  6. As the lament last year when we didn’t make it is that a bowl game is good for getting reps with the next year’s squad, I’ve come to realize that, unless it’s a NY6 or playoff type-caliber game, I’m more and more fine with exiting players opting out to give the newer guys more reps and a sneak peek as to what we may see next season.
  7. Some people say bowling alleys got big lanes (Got big lanes) (Got big lanes) Some people say that bowling alleys all look the same (Look the same) (Look the same) There's not a line that goes here That rhymes with anything (Anything) (Anything) Had a dream last night But I forget what it was (What it was) (What it was)
  8. Plus they have Primetime as a kaiju
  9. Gordo was on WIP this morning. Said they only have 2 more full strength Musers show this year. Sound like call to Santa and robot Santa will be tomorrow and Tuesday. I hate Musers-less Decembers
  10. To clarify if anyone is looking, Hans is a magnetic piece in mine so I’m sure they can all be turned around however you want. I have also seen a bunch of different types of these online the last few months and the movie nerd in me always snarks that he is shown in all of them (including the one I got) as falling the wrong way. There are also some that are painted or are more ornate on the bottom and one has the explosion on the top.
  11. Agreed. As we were watching what would be the last of Bijan’s games here at UT, I couldn’t help but feel kinda sad that Sark squandered the gift that is/was Bijan by not using him more.
  12. However, if you get one like me (which I happened to do so early Fall and luckily at a much cheaper price) make sure you have your Hans Gruber falling the correct direction per the film
  13. To be fair, Jimbo can get in about 10 minutes worth of words in 50 seconds
  14. SIAP but not more Harbaugh cam, please. Mkay?
  15. “Sally loves when I score first”
  16. Perd…Perd…Perdon’t matter because they’re not gonna beat Michigan!
  17. I suspect they’ll try to claim they are somehow the 3rd best team in the SEC-SEC-SEC by virtue of having beaten LSU
  18. I want Georgia to desimate LSU just to cheapen aggy’s big storm the field win. Because I’m all about the pettiness of CFB.
  19. Okay…so who’s next on the Heisman favorites list?
  20. If they win & TCU gets knocked out of the playoffs, that’s my assumption
  21. Right but USC only has a second due to playing in the CCG. Ohio State could’ve had the same thing given how bad they already got beat by Michigan. So…how does that make them more qualified to go to the playoffs?
  22. I would love it if TCU lost today and got knocked out of the playoffs. On the other hand, it doesn't seem to make sense to me to let teams who didn't make their CCG and play another game get to leapfrog a team that did and lost. Case in point - Ohio State is gonna leapfrog USC even though, the last time we saw Ohio State play, they lost by almost exactly the same amount that USC lost last night. How does that make sense?
