  1. Tech is a school who has never had good unis
  2. It has ESPN but not ABC. However, I have a leaf antenna for my den TV that gets reception just fine. That's something for everyone to think about - when you read someone on here saying they using an "antenna" that doesn't necessarily mean a big antenna on the roof of their house. I am sure it is based on how close you live to the actual local ABC affiliate's broadcasting antenna and where the leaf antenna is in your house, etc. but it works well enough for me. I actually tape it up high on the wall by the TV for better reception.
  3. Signed up for the Sling TV weekend pass. Fuck you, Disney
  4. With the Sling day and weekend passes, are you able to record items in advance to watch later? For example, with YTTV, I have College Gameday always recording so can I wake up and start watching after it starts and just catch up as I skip over commercials, etc. Or is it just the ability to watch live?
  5. The new banquet courtesy of my friendly neighborhood brewery, Vector Brewing in Dallas:
  6. How about that!
  7. Were they 35mm prints?

I’m still hoping for the movie. Ron Howard has been attached to direct.
  12. The new LHN = worst deal we've ever had
  13. 37 year old song that I somehow never heard until the other day. From that brief era of rap when you could put all the samples you wanted in a song without consequences.
  14. Do we have him in the wings or does he have us?
  15. From my kitchen chalkboard where this week, much like our O-line last week, I didn’t put in much effort Fight!
  16. On the other end of the respectability spectrum, I watched Match which apparently is only streaming on Tubi. Oh my. So much gross out and a movie that I have to assume got green lit because of Barbarian’s success. I can’t necessarily say I recommend it…but I also didn’t regret watching it and it has some really audible gross out scenes. Also just watched Chain Reactions which is a documentary about Texas Chainsaw Massacre as discussed by a wide-ranging group including Patton Oswald, Stephen King and Japanese director Takashi Miike. Enjoyed. Was actually searching out a doc talking about a horror movie or movies when I found it. Always love a good movie related doc.
  17. Watched that a few weeks ago on Criterion. Agreed with all your descriptions and will add beautiful shot with gorgeous sets
  18. and yet there’s a reason no one posts in the Fox Big Noon thread that’s on here….
