  1. This was my job when planting hayfields. 25 steps.
  2. 80% of the way to the goal of half million on go fund me. Lulz.
  3. Crazy. I don't pay much mind to the gasoline versions, mea culpa. I'm guessing that's the pickup version, or includes the motors in the SUV's - 1/2 tons (there used to be 2 versions of the 6.0, don't know if 6.2 is same)? We put about about 315k on two of the Denali 6.2's ('08 215k and '18 100k) and both were great. The '08 did not have the cylinder deactivation for sure, the '18 might have (I don't recall). Both were very solid and strong, only issue i ever had was a rear main on the '08 and its a bitch of a 2 piece POS design. Oh and the '08 had real shitty motor mounts but replaced those with H2 mounts and never had a problem again. Both were solid trucks but wife went in another direction this time.
  4. Well, as long as it's only for a decade or so. I mean he was just a young man who never could have known thrusting a knife into someone's chest can cause problems with them keeping their heart intact. Need that 25 yo frontal lobe development to completely understand nuanced acts such as murder. That's true. You're right, better to be murdered at 17 instead.
  5. Lol wut. I own both a duramax and a 6.7 One is sitting at 297k pretty much trouble free miles and the other might just grenade a CP4 under 100k miles. Fwiw, my 250 doesn't have the death wobble, and I'm only hoping it's half as reliable as the 2500 was. @Txslnghrns look into the CP4 disaster kit. Worth the ~$500 or whatever it is to save yourself 10-12k from a blown CP4.
  6. It appears short because Karmello would be out of prison right about the time the deceased would be in the best part of his life. Prime earning years, young family, etc. But, of course he's dead so yeah 15-20 years seems pretty fucking light for destroying several lives.
  7. In all fairness, lots of questionable things have been put out there...
  8. Same. Hell of a lot less stressful when ammo goes on it's runs during panic time. Additionally, when I'm lucky enough to find a factory load that a rifle loves, I'll head back to same store and attempt to get as much of that lot as possible. Neither was as big of a concern when my brother was a serious reloader.
  9. 8 hours in Baffin in Feb...with a unbeknownst to me newly formed hole in a cheaper pair of waders. Not sure I saw my dick again for a week.
  10. Hell. Yes. This being done by the same gentlemen that you've mentioned in the past? Cant recall if we spoke on it here or in PMs.
  11. I was on that path for years. Too many ruined trips. Bit down and spent the $$$, and have not regretted it once. Forget the durability and quality aspects, the actual fit booties are worth it in themselves imo.
  12. Been a few years since I've had to look but I don't think you can get any of the US made stuff for $600 anymore. Can still get the jackets for around that price. Still easily a top 5 best money spent behind the essentials. In typical fashion, I found a guy that gets a 50% off from them about a year after I broke down and spent the money.
  13. FWIW, I lived in Mexico for a couple years a little over a decade ago. Half my colleagues/roommates wore stainless Subs, as most were middle to exec mgt for a large diving contractor. I know things have changed down there some since then, but just another reference.
  14. Imagine believing those two aren't... wow.
  15. Roofs can look ALOT worse than they really are sometimes. I'd start with a good cleaner and some scrubbing, then wash, then repeat. My roof looks 10x better now than when I purchased it at 18 months old.
  16. Been involved deeply with 2 PE groups. Neither was a bad experience. But seriously, fuck those guys that ruined WB.
  17. Outdated? She announced moving to Ireland a couple weeks ago or less.
  18. And for good reason. That 20 mile stretch is one of my favorite places on earth.
  19. I lived by this but 3 years for my entire adult life. I've been running 4 now with Endurances. I was lucky enough to run quite a bit of tread off the RV tires in last 4 years. Wish i could say the same for the boat Both are on replacement schedule this year.
  20. Double J Saddlery. Not cheap, but will last you a few decades.
  21. Anderson Bean for more affordable, Black Jack for more quality but still affordable. Guess it all depends on what you want to spend but neither break the bank. The BJ's should last you a long long time.
  22. That sucks. I had several friends have hats built there ~20 years ago. These were guys who've been wearing hats since they could walk and they all seemed pretty happy with them. They were also all ags tho...so who knows.
  23. Even the 2000's dont belong in the same sentence as Tecovas imo. Price or quality. It's been a long time, but iirc the few pairs of 2000's I had about in 2008-2010 frame were still ~$450. The ostrich and caiman ones were anyhow.
