  1. I’ll take a look when I get home but I’ll see how much clearance I’ve got on my tally lows on a 257 vanguard. Only a 40 on it but iirc there’s plenty of clearance for a 42.
  2. Same. @RomaVicta I hope your education/employment included loads of writing.
  3. Qfmft This is the gun that taught me about ricochets. I was shooting at a tpost at about 90 yds and had a bullet land back at my feet. I still don’t know how the physics of that happened, but it did. I’ve been uncomfortable shooting at plates ever since. Glad I’m not the only one. Seriously wtf dude. Well done.
  4. Again. The irony is almost too much.
  5. This sounds crazy, but listen. Does anyone have a sharpie? Maybe we can steer this bitch right around the straights?
  6. It has been labeled propaganda for ~20 years. You are doing a disservice to many on this site that correctly identified it as opinion propaganda decades ago.
  7. Yes. Once he shit down his leg in front of the world and it was immediately clear he was going to lose, the knives came out. Crazy how that works. This is glass house territory. Well, on take one anyhow. She’s pretty articulate once they get it cleaned up.
  8. The irony of this comment after the history of your new Gods climb up the ladder. Amazing.
  9. Don’t know. There were reports a whistleblower came out with it - but - I don’t know if true or not. Haven’t paid much attention since it became very clear D’s going to drag their nuts on Trumps face this go around.
  10. Access to the questions a week earlier was pretty neat-o.
  11. Agreed - good policy. Interested in the cost of it, but something truly needed
  12. I need to get on the flu shot train. Haven’t have flu (or shot) in 20 years (maybe shot once or twice due to travel requirements) but not on my own doing. Flu sucked ass the few times I’ve ever had it growing up. Worse than *my experiences with Covid (I understand some have been far, far less fortunate)
  13. My communication stops at the BA/BR level, unless I can make the time during layoff. I don’t have the time nor inclination to shovel shit or pull levers. That’s work best suited for “skilled labor”. You know, guys who bought a book a few months ago.
  14. It’s not a handful of rental houses but it’ll do.
  15. No, they are not easy to rid of. Our “management” labor and operators have better packages without a doubt in both pay and benefits. No pension which may or may not be there, though. They are loyal to the company and invested in its success, and are compensated as such.
  16. Well shit. Was hoping to fly out early Thursday but not looking so hot. Feel terrible for the folks on the west coast getting slammed back to back.
  17. I don’t disagree that there are leeches everywhere. And I’m not against skilled labor - what was once a union tenet. I’m against the useless fucks that insist I owe them something because they purchased a book. I have worked with good BAs, and crook BAs. I don’t believe there is still a need for unions but ymmv. If and when I can cash out on this deal, come hell or high water this will be my last go with them. Top hour, show up, hire splits, lay-off splits and the lack of give a fuck, and even downright disdain for the company employing you has gotten to be too much to bear.
  18. I should sound like someone who’s got a non-insignificant amount of personal wealth chained to a bunch of assholes that don’t care about a company or project, only how long they can extend their employment. Sabotage of equipment not uncommon. Sabotage of the works not uncommon. Whatever it takes to extend their ride a bit longer - who gives a fuck about the company you’re working for - I bought a book, where is mine? I hate sending our skilled travelers home but that is easily overshadowed by getting to layoff the local leeches and sending them back to the unemployment line. I wouldn’t feel this way if even 20% were just decent people instead of scum of the earth thieves and cheats.
  19. For starters, they’d be worth about $20/hr with any competition, maybe less. Breeding mediocrity is their greatest contribution. Buy a book, now you are skilled labor, lulz.
  20. I haven’t heard much about Covid lately (personally). Is it coming around again? I got OG and *think I got boosted, but maybe I got it for first time right before first booster, can’t recall. I got it about a year ago and it was a rough 48 hours but better after that.
  21. Yet they’re still going up right along Rickenbacker Causeway. Been here last few weeks and second time have to pack the equipment up, just in case. Don’t know how the people that live here do it.
  22. Hello. There’s a few of us around. I’ve mostly frozen myself from purchasing lately on a P-gun quest. But let’s take a looksie.
  23. Strike might be resolved in January. Let’s see what the mob wants by then.
  24. This is literally a reply to a post that was a reply to your post in a subject. Was there not an apropos thread at that time?
