Ole miss seems like a fraud to me. Their defense is trash and they put up a lot of points against trash teams. They’ve played 1 good team and got blasted.

How did we not get any replay of that fake punt?

So I guess Mike Tomlin is a no.
That was my assumption when I first heard that he was a “candidate”. Why would a guy that’s been in pro football for 20+ years, who has the most stable job in all of football with the Steelers, leave to go try to rebuild USC?
So why did USC put his name out there? Are they not getting the action they’d like and are concerned about being the second best open job right now so they’re throwing out big impossible names to make it look like the best job out there?

Psu was stupid to try to keep Clifford in the game after it was clear he’s still hurt and ineffective.

Man, this was a disappointment when I found out on that the most recent flurry of activity on this thread was just a hillbilly that crawled out of his cave to run his mouth about nothing.

Is the country ready for 2nd ranked Cincy?
Prepare yourself for UGA-OSU and cincy-OU in the playoff. Uga handles osu in a decent game and then destroys the winner of the other game.

NYU Prof/talking head Scott Galloway has been on this a lot lately.
I am not worried and think it will be a good thing.
Wages will shift to marginalize education; trades wages will rise to be equivalent of bachelors degree wages and even masters wages in low demand fields. So even tho dudes aren’t going to college as much, they will still make enough money to get laid. Technology will fill in most of the other gaps. Continued migration to cities will mitigate other risks of depopulation. Population may decrease but if the economic activity of each person becomes more efficient it will be offset or even be a net gain.
I think global population will peak sometime between 2050 and 2090. I’m bummed I’m already too old to expect to live until it becomes reasonable to expect to benefit from the huge jumps in medical technology that will dramatically increase lifespan and quality of life in old age. But my kids lives will be a golden age.
Wouldn’t an increase in the supply of non-degreed men increase the pool of trade candidates and eventually put downward pressure on trade wages? Or at least create inverse relationship with wages of degreed men?

Well at least today we can all share the enjoyment of this bed shitting.

After being shut out in the first half, Nebraska scores 22 in the 3rd to take the lead. First time Michigan has trailed this season.

I hope they keep him a little longer but the fans have high expectations. It’s too bad that’s the way it is now. A coach barely has time to get one full class to graduation from initial recruitment.
I’m of the mindset that you owe it to a coach to give him 5 years. Obviously there are exceptions, but when you are Nebraska and hire a guy like frost, I think you have to give him some time if he’s showing progress.
Losing to Illinois to start the season is a really bad look.
Getting Michigan, osu, and msu in their crossover games this year isn’t doing him any favors either.
-
I didn’t realize this was already Frost’s 4th season at Nebraska. Didn’t seem that long.
Probably need to make some progress soon to keep that job. I expected more from him there.
-
PSU sure wishes Will Levis would have stayed.
-
Neb marched down the field and went for it at 4th and goal from the 3. Did not convert.
UM moving the ball now.

Rushing the field as #3 versus #4?
No.
It’s their biggest home game in these students’ lifetime. I think you give it to them.

If penn state’s qb is out for the season the season was over anyway. They had the game won until he got hurt.
If he comes back they still have games at osu, Michigan, msu, and a rematch against Iowa if they win those 3.

This PSU QB is a fucking headache, man.
He sure as shit wasn’t ready to step into his first real action in this environment against this defense.

Am I watching good defense or absolutely inept, dogshit offense?
Depends if you watched the first half or the second half.

Right but they haven't really played any explosive offenses. Ole Miss hangs 40 on either of them.
No, they would not.

Neither of these teams impress me. How they are both in the top 4 is strange to say the least.
Defense.

If Clifford is still hurt this will get ugly.
Losing Mustipher hurt even more than I would have expected. Defensive captain and key run stopper but letting Illinois run for 357, yikes.
