  1. It’s absolutely hilarious to watch a man whose own loyalty extends no further than his last name slowly come to the realization that the loyalty of everyone he expected to protect him stops the second their careers or freedom are in doubt.

This isn't an either/or situation. There is more than enough room in the asshole universe for all of them to be assholes.  His sister is in her 20s, I believe.  She's old enough to be an asshole all on her own.  And of course, there is plenty of room for Patrick Reed to be an asshole, which he certainly appears to be.

Having said that, and as Shane Ryan pointed out, it's pretty rare for a person to sever familial ties for no reason.  And the current narrative is being shaped largely by Patrick's parents, as their side is the only one speaking publicly.

IMO, I think the most likely reality is that Patrick Reed is an asshole, with an asshole sister, both being raised by assholes and he happened to marry an asshole.

Sounds like the entire lot of them would fit right in around here.

There are many different types of assholes. The cunty, steal from your teammates type of asshole seems to get pushed out pretty quickly around here (excluding the cloakroom where it’s celebrated).

  3. Well I should have taken the advice of this thread (on the old board) and not played Augusta municipal when I was down there. On more than 50% of the tee boxes I  could give my feet a little wiggle to sink down in like I was in a sand trap. The other course we played down there on a whim so we didn’t end up blacked out mid afternoon since we had no plans for Sunday was in marginally better condition but the greens looked like they hadn’t seen a drop of water in many months.

But it was golf, and it was 85 degrees, and there was 3 inches of snow at home, so I’ll take it with a smile.

It gets me how different Rory looks than when he was young.  HGH, I'm sure but he had the face, hair, and body of a dumpy 12 year old Irish girl.

I remember when he posted a vid of himself doing squats and I think it was Chamblee came out and said it was a terrible idea to lift heavy and he was going to kill his back.

It seemed so obvious. I didn’t really consider any of the other 20-30

Came down to that one and the one a bit to the right of it with wider green stripes. Bought them both, kept that one, gave the other to my brother in law.

  6. Rickie’s putter has been on fire all week. I’m if he’ll be able to handle the pressure if he makes it into the last pairing tomorrow. Better off a stroke or two back.

  7. One of the guys I went to the practice round with has a daughter the same age as mine. We shipped all of the merch we bought at the course back to his house. Somehow I managed to convince my wife that since I need to go pick it up, it would be perfect if the women watched the girls play while he and I watch the masters and drool over all of the stuff we bought.

You have more strength than I. I've lost the last two afternoons to Bubble Guppies.

    DVR is my savior.

Red, orange, yellow, green, purple, blue, white....

i feel like it’s been stuck in my head more often than not over the last two months.

And why the fuck did they switch purple and blue?

I’m not sure what the confusion is. Masters says he shot a par 4 on #3. Drive short of green, chipped on but rolled off, chipped again close. They showed him putt in for a four.

I thought I was missing something because that’s what I was seeing as well.

If the amount of work Greller put in beyond what I saw any other caddy do on Tuesday is any indication, he’s in good hands.

For 4+ hours after Jordan finished his practice round, everywhere I went on the course Greller would show up at a green rolling balls and taking notes. Picking a pin location and then rolling balls from likely landing spots and from the direction of bunkers, rolling balls and taking notes everywhere.

I’d say that extra work paid off today.

Pretty sure my problem is my short game.  I'm a 12 index and it's been as low as a 9 and as high as a 15.  Some rounds I hit 10 fairways, but I still shoot a 94.  If I hit my driver well it can go about 270 which is plenty long for the courses/tees I play.  My low round ever was last year--a 78 and I've broken 80 two other times.  My average score over the last year is 88.  I play almost every weekend.  I rarely get up and down from around the green and I'm shitty from 90 yards in.  Other than the occasional round or 9 holes when nothing works, I usually can point to 5-8 strokes a round that I lose to my chipping/putting.  I've had two rounds this year when I had 41 putts.  So, more play isn't the answer because I play almost every weekend and I practice my short game a lot.  I've only had a couple of short game lessons.  I guess that's what I need.  Any other ideas?  I also have a temper and I get pissed and lose my focus when I hit a really bad shot.

Dave Pelz short game and putting handicap will give you an idea of where your weaknesses are in your short game so you know what needs the most work.
