Because too many busted ass concacaf stadiums can’t run it. A few of them can’t even afford a full field of grass, so I kind of get it.

Ref lost the plot a long time ago.

Alright Gerg, bring on captain America. Game is getting flat.

The ref hates Musah. No 2 ways about it.

Fuck this ref, that dude lined Adams up and never played the ball. That’s a card.

So CP is going to get 30 minutes?
  7. This case was over when the judge didn’t allow the video of KR saying he wanted to shoot looters be admitted. That changes the context of every decision he made that night. Why he was carrying. Why he left the store front. Why he crossed the police line after the store he was protecting was made safe. He went looking for action, and he got it. I think the first guy saw a kid with a gun and thought he could bully him off of it. I think everyone after that saw an active shooter and they were trying to take KR down to disarm him. The biggest lesson here was for the guy with the pistol. He could have stepped out of KRs LOS and drilled him if he was really trying to kill him. Instead he got close and gave KR the ability to respond.

But you see, Mexico’s striker has been a better focal point or something.

    JFC, CBs asleep again.

More concerning that there wasn’t a CB deep enough to cover that run. Yedlin wasn’t even goal side, he just hustled to help.
  11. Talked to my mom this morning, sounds like it’s no longer just southern Bavaria. Nurnberg has 10 ICU beds open, Bamberg is full, Erlangen is full, all the smaller hospitals around them are full. Shit sucks.
  12. Yea, never buy in Killeen. They have a captive market of young soldiers that turnover constantly they are used to bending over. The chances of you even getting a fair deal around here is almost zero unless you know someone in ownership.
  13. Yea, I guess the big spike right now is southern Bavaria, so maybe the restrictions will be limited to there or Bavaria only.
  14. His resume took a hell of dent the last two seasons. He dials up some pretty nice blitzes, but struggles to stop basic run plays. LSU ran a 5 play playbook, mostly counters, and had a player set a school rushing record. Fuck that guy.
  15. Yea, the wheels are completely off. Defense seems like it’s in full revolt about Grantham. Their play has just fallen off a cliff since the Bama game. Jones is who he is, can make big plays but is a turnover machine and Mullen refuses to give up on him (AR was dressed and available). That’s a pretty consistent theme with Mullen. He’s stubborn to a fault. Mullen was stubborn last season about keeping Grantham, and it looks like it’s going to cost him his job. It’s great since we will be competing with LSU at a minimum for a coach, and Mullen’s shitty recruiting has the next guy already behind the 8 ball.
  16. Is there room on this train for other teams? Asking for a friend.
  17. I didn’t really whip the ingredients after the creamed eggs all that hard, so mine isn’t super thick or anything. Taste wise it’s really similar to a German egg nog liqueur that my mom bakes with that’s impossible to find here in the states. If the flavor meets her approval I may start making batches just for her to bake with. Will definitely need to thicken those up more though, that stuff is more of a molasses consistency.
  18. Tasted pretty good before aging. Hope it lives up to the hype.
  19. So do you just split the missing cup of cognac evenly between the rum and bourbon? Gonna make a batch tonight and don’t have any cognac.
  20. Still learning this smoker. I wanted to go unwrapped the entire cook but they were still pretty tight after 3 hours and I had people coming over for dinner. Wound up wrapping for an hourish. For some reason the smallest rack took the longest so I pulled that right before eating. first rack second rack and the pita third rack. turned out great, fat rendered, bones were easy to pull but the meat wasn’t falling apart. Feel good enough about running this now to do some big money meats next.
  21. Hey @Brisketexan just a heads up. Talked with my mom this week and she said covid is creeping back up and they are talking about shutting down Christmas markets among other things. It may only apply to Bavaria, but it’s worth keeping an eye on. You may want to have some alternative plans.
  22. If I didn’t know better I’d say he’s doing a complete troll job this game. Fans and media have been beating him over the head about starting Richardson, not giving him enough reps, etc. Mullen played him the entire half and let him sink or swim almost to prove a point. He’s physically gifted but against a defense like this his biggest strengths aren’t going to help much. He’s not running over that front 7. His passing game is built on defenses having to stack the box to keep his run game in check. Georgia doesn’t have to, they are just too good up front.
  23. Up front, maybe a little, but whoever does this has the ability to rent these out in perpetuity. The TV and movie industry has the scratch. My guess is it’s going to be cheaper than the civil case that the OP will pay out. edit: and it would also probably reduce a substantial amount of the insurance premium that production companies/sets have to carry for filming with firearms. second edit: it would also speed up filming by eliminating all the shield setups and crew safety standoffs while hot guns are in use. More cost offset to pay for these toys.
  24. I can’t believe someone hasn’t stood up a usable prop gun company that would solve this issue. Doesn’t seem difficult from an engineering perspective. Replicas that have working feed/discharge mechanisms but dead ignition (inert firing pins). Eliminate the live/dummy/blank issue at its source while keeping the ability to film loading/unloading without having to use alternative weapons that could have live fire capability. The replica system should be the only thing allowed on a set, ever. Alternative spark and smoke source, electrically fired with an internal source that is decoupled from the ammo system entirely. Visually representative but low noise to reduce hearing risk. Audio can be dubbed in later. Weapon could probably provide a recordable metadata that audio techs could use to easily insert the proper gunfire location/direction/echos/etc. RFID system that validates the weapon as an authenticated replica tied into a secure database. Interrogation scanners/stations that can be used by the armorer and a second layer while on set before, during, and after shooting to validate replica status and chain of custody. Every actor scans their weapons walking into a scene for a visual approval that it’s safe to aim at anything other than the ground, every time. This could probably even be expanded to RFID wearables that track hand offs between people on set to further establish chain of custody. Storage system that ties into RFID/audit system that checks guns in and out with approved armorer credentials. The system flags weapons as tampered if the case isn’t opened/closed according to procedures and credentials. Doesn’t eliminate the risk of weapon alteration entirely, but would reduce the list of suspects to the armorers that have the credentials to check and approve the weapons in the system. Also ensures alteration/chain of custody would almost entirely result in a murder charge because there is no real possibility of an accidental discharge through negligence. It would only result from a modification of the replica or tracking system.
