  1. I mean I like your thought process but probably over thinking it a little bit. If you returned the coat to the school/organization could someone who needed it benefit from it? If so quietly return the coat and go buy your kid a coat from Kohl's or Goodwill. If not, or it's too late or whatever, keep it until he outgrows it and donate it to a similar organization.

  2. Yeah I never followed up, my bad.

We went to Jack's Chop House. I had the salmon. It was meh. One of my buddies has the ribeye and it looked tremendous. Another one had some sort of fried fish that was also very good according to him. It ain't cheap and it's tiny so you probably need a reservation.

Breakfast at Texas Sunrise was probably my favorite meal of the trip. Just standard diner fare but everyone loved their food.

Los Tios was good. Prometheus Pizza was really good. Hill and Vine was a cool setting but I didn't think the food was very good.

  3. I got bored and started watching this. I can't believe I'm laughing as much as I am. Not what I expected at all from an Omaha Productions/ESPN show.

Sometimes the wolves would take the babes...😂

  4. I'm looking for an unlocked 128GB iPhone 14+ new or used in good to very good condition. Trade in would be Galaxy S20. If anyone sees any deals posted, please let me know. Carrier is Fi.

  5. Victoronix granton edge slicing knife. $86 on Amazon.

Reciprocating saw job complete. Only got a little bit of flying turkey parts in my eye. We're in the brine. I will pull out tomorrow afternoon and pat dry and let it rest uncovered until Thursday morning. PXL_20251125_002108567.thumb.jpg.7899bda8896dd058b0385b10844562e8.jpg

  6. God speed my friend.

The 17 lb stunt turkey only took about 3 hours at 350, and I think it was still kinda frozen when I started it. I had to cook it for 45 minutes before I could remove the giblets and the neck. It turned out pretty good. PXL_20251124_001621316.thumb.jpg.5a82eb9b0d636841c4b5e2ab5cc06be8.jpgPXL_20251123_231405841.thumb.jpg.ca22d606ace746c91e77edbf04a83d0d.jpgPXL_20251124_001611640.thumb.jpg.220b3e524ec94c83bf8af3e925de2e2f.jpgPXL_20251124_001648857.thumb.jpg.6e2dd936a3f0c87b2a695a607752cf64.jpg

  7. I decided to try the steak nuggets at Arby's today. Drive thru only @dcbc, I already am at high risk of seasonal depression as winter approaches, no need to set foot in there and guarantee it. I'm not sure what I expected but it's burnt ends without sauce. Not a bad little protein snack, 5 piece (they gave me 6) for $5.89.

  8. Prepuce admittedly I just found this thread this year and didn't go all the way back but don't those bad boys the you keep in the garage/shed get pretty rank and attract unwanted bugs? Regardless I bet your wife loves your experiments. Tell her you're a hero on surly, I'm sure she will understand.

  9. I just cannot stop giggling when I'm watching this show. It's just so dumb. Every single scene has some little detail in it that is just so ridiculous that I can't help but 🤣. He just kept talking about LED screens to show videos of dinosaurs! He just didn't get what I was trying to do!
