  1. So Windy floated a Knicks/Giannis pairing this morning. That's interesting.
  2. I read earlier they didn't have exit interviews. I knew what that meant right away. They are going to go the NFL thing now where they go out and hire the best defensive coach they can find. Tony Bennett??
  3. If I don't get at least 6 games of this I'm gonna hunt down those script writers.
  4. Ohhh don't do that Junior Glove. Don't poke the bear.
  5. This rebounding battle between AD and Loon is insane. Insane. I love it. Watch these two fight under the basket.
  6. Honest response as I'm laying here bored. I have multiple TENS/stim devices for my various back and neck ailments. I have found that they provide therapeutic relief but not much else. I have seen them advertised for "fitness" purposes both like in the op and also for calorie burning. I've fucked around with them at home and also done some scientific research using the Google tool to see if there might be any benefit there. I don't think so. Google results in re to burning calories were inconclusive at best. Maybe if you are morbidly obese you can derive some calorie burning benefit from your muscles tensing up 600x in an hour but for a normal person I don't think so. I tried hooking it onto some big muscles on my legs while watching TV for an hour and I didn't break a sweat or feel any kind of muscle fatigue after an hour. It's also pretty uncomfortable to shock your muscles into tensing up every ten seconds. So yes you should absolutely buy one and report back. I'll stick to traditional cardio.
  7. Yeah if Bubble Jamal is back that is a complete conversation changer.
  8. I have some questions that are popping up and I could use some advice on what others are doing/have done. I am sure I will have more as we keep moving along. TL;DR is we started our fairly massive remodel project that we signed before Covid in March. It consists of a dormer Master Suite addition above existing garage/family room, new roof and siding, full kitchen redo including taking out a wall, and framing in an office in the already mostly finished basement and moving the laundry room from the unfinished portion up to the second story. Also flooring all around the main level and possibly upstairs, too. These questions are specifically about doors. Front door will need to get replaced. We have a double door currently. We like it. We like being able to open both up when we need to move stuff in/out, Xmas tree for example. I have noticed most people don't have double doors when I look around and pay attention. If they are double wide they are doing the single door with glass panes on either side thing. I like how that looks but we don't want that. Does anyone still do a double door in practice? Does this look terribly 1980s? Other door question. I had planned to just do a regular door in the basement but I'm rethinking it due to sunlight (big egress window is in the new office) plus I would like to be able to open this area up when not in use. I was initially thinking barn door but then I thought about noise. Anyone have any experience with noise and double French doors or even a double pocket door?
  9. It depends on the kid as well. My 13 yo (boy) asked if he could get Snapchat. We monitor his phone daily and honestly he really has very little use for his it other than watching you tube videos about how to get abs or Arthur Morgan. He just doesn't care. I love it about him. He is social and well liked without caring about those things or trying to fit in. He's just him, a dumb boy who wrestles with his friends during the school assembly and gets lunch detention. My 10 yo (girl) will be lucky if I let her access anything other than Google location services on her phone until she graduates college. She takes selfies with duck lips on my wife's phone and loves the attention she gets at school. I fight with her weekly about what she tries to wear to school. 4th fucking grade.
  10. I will probably jinx this but since I don't care I'm willing to risk it. My goodness Boston is going to moonwalk into the finals.
  11. God I hate getting old. I literally fell asleep upright in my chair with both games on. What the hell happened in MIL? Bucks were up double digits when I dozed off.
  12. Nice job mullet. F the haters. Hope everything stays cool in your daughter's social circle.
  13. What an awesome night of hoops. Needed it.
  14. From what I can gather these are your All NBA teams First - Mitchell Shai Tatum Giannis Joel Second - Fox Luka JB Jimmy Joker Third - Steph Dame Bron Lauri Sabonis Looks pretty good I think.
  15. I think you're doing just fine @Mullet Free I have some fairly close up experience with a handful of public school administrations and I would feel pretty good about them taking the proper chain of command steps. It's not 1998 anymore, there are protocols and mandatory reporting likely in place depending on the school district. There is massive liability involved if they sweep this under the rug and this guy then gets hired somewhere else and diddles children. At this stage you have no evidence of a crime being committed and the school district has no incentive that you know of to not handle this properly. Until your spidey sense starts going off I think your approach is completely logical. If they start going off the rails and into cover up mode all you need to do is activate surly. Hell Nicole will probably have the guy drugged and in Town Lake by 10 pm tonight.

    High

I saw this and got kinda pissed that I'm an oldish boring suburban dude with kids. I wanted to go down and party with those dudes.
  17. I should not be up this late. But literally crying laughing at the montage of Chuck making out with Dick BaVetta.
  18. I don't think the Warriors win this series. Sac looks like the better team to me. But I am wrong a lot.
  19. No Giannis Kawhi with no timetable to return MVP 50/50 at best for start of 2nd round This is not what I have been looking forward to for months. Also load management must not work.
  20. Anyone who has one of these lighting products, did you all do it all the way around the house? Just front? I'm definitely doing front and back but I am torn on the sides. You can barely even see them from the street as I'm the last house at the end of the circle. So I guess I would be doing the sides for the neighbors? It would save me about $1500. My understanding is I would get two controllers so I could even do the front and back different if I wanted to. Not sure that is the case if I go all the way around.
  21. You gotta pm him for his Venmo. I realized after I still had it from last year.
  22. Relatively recent. I don't think you need to provide vax proof any longer. https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2022/12/06/canada-drive-passport-detroit-michigan-windsor-tunnel-ambassador-bridge/69663594007/
  23. What's even funnier is Joe D is somewhat of a father figure and mentor to Draymond. His kid Jordan (Dumars) is really tight with Bennie Fowler (former NFL WR) and Draymond. In some ways this is the perfect way for the dynasty to end. The drama is hilarious to me, I can't wait to see what happens next.
  24. No worries at all. Thanks. @ztejas pays BB if he ever posts his info and we are all set.
