  1. Draymond I honestly think gets away with more than anyone in the NBA. He is so demonstrative I just don't think refs know what to do with him so they give him a ton of extra rope. He's really smart positionally and knows how to work the system but he's so physical he could probably get called for a foul on most 1:1 possessions.
  2. You an anti vaxxer, boon? Yes I read on FB that the vax alters your genetic makeup. I didn't want my kids turning trans so I avoided it at all costs.
  3. There's a few that come to mind. Two Rock movies actually. One is The Rundown and the other is Walking Tall. The third is more obvious, Road House.
  4. Wiggins wouldn't take the jab for months and said he regretted giving in and doing it after they won the championship. They say he is going to need an injection to play tonight. Maybe it was just the gene mutating nature of the jab that he didn't like? If Wiggins doesn't play seems like Bron is in a very good spot.
  5. Isiah is on the board at UWM. I don't think he has anything to do with basketball ops. This is interesting. https://twitter.com/DaltonJ_Johnson/status/1657084018943492097
  6. Thought it was BS that Luka was first team over Mitchell. Randle over Markanen, I don't love.
  7. The import worked using this method (ICS url from outlook pasted into Google Cal) but it doesn't seem to be syncing. Meeting came through last night and it still hasn't updated on my Google calendar. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
  8. You should look into getting them some used deodorant.
  9. Bubble Final 4 Redux
  10. It appears you can. I was trying to do it from Mobile earlier and that was a dead end. https://techwiser.com/sync-outlook-calendar-google-calendar/ I got it to work on my laptop in Google Calendar but for some reason it's not pulling through on my phone. Maybe it just needs time.
  11. I am not sure if my company's IT will allow it but first I need to find a tool/app that will even let me try. Cozi seems to allow an import but not real time syncing. I don't want all of my family shit on my Outlook calendar and my family doesn't want to see all of my work shit on the shared Google calendar. It would be nice if I could have my own calendar on my phone that combines both and updates real time. Any recs? Android if it matters.
  12. I might have said this here like 6 months ago so apologies if so, but is it just me or does D Ham give anyone else Suge Knight vibes? He is coaching a helluva series imo but every time I see him now I think Suge.
  13. Rest in Peace and condolences to his family and friends including the online ones.
  14. If she has any hot crypto tips I'll be sure to let you all know
  15. A week ago Friday the HVAC guys showed up while I was on a conference call to run some ductwork in the addition. No one tells me anything but cool. They blocked me in the driveway with their van. It was raining. All of these subcontractors have been great. Seriously, all very accommodating and professional and fast. I had made small talk with them in the past and I asked them politely if they could move their van so I could get out and go to the gym. I offered them the driveway after I left. They were super cool about it and took me up on the driveway. Friday night, or maybe Saturday morning, parked back in the driveway I notice a sheet metal screw lodged deep in my front driver's side tire. God dammit I even bought one of those magnet sweeper things because of this but I didn't use it given the rain. NBD Belle Tire will plug this for free since I bought the tires there, I just need to find the time. I went in today and the hole can't be plugged due to location, basically on the inside edge going into the sidewall. 380 out the door. Then I got annoyed and decided I would email my builder. I was really reasonable and just said hey, I know shit happens, and I'm not going to get all bent out of shape either way, but this happened and I didn't even care until they told me I had to get it replaced and it's going to cost me $400. Let me know your thoughts. His response has me more annoyed than had I not sent the email in the first place. Is it unreasonable to think that the right thing to do would have been to at least offer to split it with me? I don't care about the money, I just think little things can go a long way (in both directions). This project is not going to end anytime soon and we're going to have to deal with each other a lot.
  16. Probably more likely some extra small yoga pants from Lululemon. Fucking typical.
  17. So Windy floated a Knicks/Giannis pairing this morning. That's interesting.
  18. I read earlier they didn't have exit interviews. I knew what that meant right away. They are going to go the NFL thing now where they go out and hire the best defensive coach they can find. Tony Bennett??
  19. If I don't get at least 6 games of this I'm gonna hunt down those script writers.
  20. Ohhh don't do that Junior Glove. Don't poke the bear.
  21. This rebounding battle between AD and Loon is insane. Insane. I love it. Watch these two fight under the basket.
  22. Honest response as I'm laying here bored. I have multiple TENS/stim devices for my various back and neck ailments. I have found that they provide therapeutic relief but not much else. I have seen them advertised for "fitness" purposes both like in the op and also for calorie burning. I've fucked around with them at home and also done some scientific research using the Google tool to see if there might be any benefit there. I don't think so. Google results in re to burning calories were inconclusive at best. Maybe if you are morbidly obese you can derive some calorie burning benefit from your muscles tensing up 600x in an hour but for a normal person I don't think so. I tried hooking it onto some big muscles on my legs while watching TV for an hour and I didn't break a sweat or feel any kind of muscle fatigue after an hour. It's also pretty uncomfortable to shock your muscles into tensing up every ten seconds. So yes you should absolutely buy one and report back. I'll stick to traditional cardio.
  23. Yeah if Bubble Jamal is back that is a complete conversation changer.
  24. I have some questions that are popping up and I could use some advice on what others are doing/have done. I am sure I will have more as we keep moving along. TL;DR is we started our fairly massive remodel project that we signed before Covid in March. It consists of a dormer Master Suite addition above existing garage/family room, new roof and siding, full kitchen redo including taking out a wall, and framing in an office in the already mostly finished basement and moving the laundry room from the unfinished portion up to the second story. Also flooring all around the main level and possibly upstairs, too. These questions are specifically about doors. Front door will need to get replaced. We have a double door currently. We like it. We like being able to open both up when we need to move stuff in/out, Xmas tree for example. I have noticed most people don't have double doors when I look around and pay attention. If they are double wide they are doing the single door with glass panes on either side thing. I like how that looks but we don't want that. Does anyone still do a double door in practice? Does this look terribly 1980s? Other door question. I had planned to just do a regular door in the basement but I'm rethinking it due to sunlight (big egress window is in the new office) plus I would like to be able to open this area up when not in use. I was initially thinking barn door but then I thought about noise. Anyone have any experience with noise and double French doors or even a double pocket door?
