  1. I'm hurting right now. Send Vyvanse. Anyone else jump up when Ohtani stared down Smith? I was thinking the same thing when Geoff Blum said Ohtani should go out and get some, if he's man enough.
  2. The Jets have just changed the name and number on the back of their QB’s jersey. The results won’t change. They should have traded down, stockpiled picks, and began a wholesale upgrade of talent. Darnold would have been serviceable in the interim.
  3. My roommates and I attended almost every home game during the Kaiser Bob era. Most nights we could move down and sit right behind the bench. Those were some lean years. You could accurately count the number of fans in the stands in about a minute and get up and back from concessions before the timeout ended. So many players quit the team that they dressed one of the male cheerleaders (Lance) to sit on the bench. My memory of that A&M game is that we were disgusted to suddenly find ourselves up in the rafters that night because of the front-runners that had just discovered we had a men's basketball program. The pinhead behind us bragged about being a big Longhorn basketball fan, then spent the entire game referring to Raynard Davis as "John Brownlee", and vice versa.
  4. Can we get a GoFundMe page together for a fruit basket?
  5. Well, Strong was the only coach interviewed by Patterson. DeLoss Dodd's told my BMD source within a week or so after Mack's final regular season game against Baylor that the new coach was hired. He wouldn't say who it was, only that his team's bowl game would be done before ours. That's when Mack ran-off, killing himself in Florida. As someone previously noted, several coaches leveraged the job into pay raises; however, the truth is that Strong was the number one choice and that's one of many reasons Steve Patterson is a worthless POS.
  6. 90-72. Win the AL Central by six-games over the A's or Angels and make it to the ALCS. Beat Gerrit Cole in Game 7 of the ALCS at Yankee Stadium. See you in October to say "I told you so."
  7. Probably. I would never go back in there. It freaked me out just knowing exactly what the victims must have been doing cleaning and closing down for the day when they got hit.
  8. I played baseball at Voss West with R.J. Wilkerson. Malibu Grand Prix Murders I had also worked at this same Malibu Grand Prix until I left for summer school in Austin the year before.
  9. It was Dean Smith and Carolina fans that had an issue with Barnes. It's hard to fathom how Scott Drew turned out to be who he is today considering his coaching pedigree.
  10. I wouldn't begin to know what to name it, but can't wait to see it.
  11. Don't want to barter against ourselves. First offer, prima nocta
  12. I'll take Ivey. Open the vault and bring in Belein as an assistant -- similar to what Phil Martelli is doing for Michigan and Howard.
  13. “They say he missed that whore.” -30-
  14. No truer words have been typed herein.
  15. I'm looking for something for similar needs as well. I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on something that always seems to get broken.
  16. Racehorse Haynes says he is
  17. SIAP. If you get the opportunity I recommend listening to this episode of "Intelligence Matters" https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/new-research-on-capitol-insurrection-political-scientist/id1286906615?i=1000512348027 Informative research on the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Good stuff.
  18. Off the top of my head we left from Moose Lake and crossed Newfound, Ensign, Splash, and Vera, to end up in Knife. May have missed a couple in there. Hiked up to the top of Eddy Falls to see Eddy Lake.
  19. Yes. We try to do the sled dog trek every other year. Going back next year too. I couldn’t fill a Philmont or Sea Base trek for Summer 2021. SRO for Okpik for 2022.
  20. Went out on the Minnesota Boundary Waters a couple of weeks ago. This is sunrise on March 1st. Minus-18. Little brisk changing thermal layers outside of the sleeping bag.
  21. I knew he had died, but didn't recall how.
  22. You're right. He's a Crusader. I played several seasons of baseball against him and one summer for his Dad when he coached our league All-Star team. There's not a single redeeming thing I can recall about Parker, but his Dad was a good coach and a great guy. I enjoyed being on that team and playing for his Dad, but I remember Parker and a couple of his teammates did their best to make everyone else that hadn't been on their team as miserable as possible. I'd say Parker was an '83 or '84 graduate of Strake. Where did she go to high school?
