  1. Damn. Swingers and Midnight Run. Good calls.
  2. Big, big props. I wanted it in my Top-Ten. But, in no particular order (I cheated and included my final cut)- 1. The Godfather 2. Fargo 3. Pulp Fiction Gone with the Wind The Searchers 4. Apocalypse Now 5. Empire of the Sun Life is Beautiful Saving Private Ryan 6. Blade Runner 7. Rushmore 8. The Big Lebowski Raising Arizona Blazing Saddles 9. Tender Mercies To Kill a Mockingbird 10. Boogie Nights
  3. Is it kid friendly?
  4. I don''t see Richard Peavy on the list and he single--handedly knocked Marcus Dupree out of college football. That's more than enough for me.
  5. Just the back?
  6. We did force Mack out for Strong. Mack did get Saban torpedoed, but he was done either right before or right after the event/convention the coaches attend in NYC at the end of the season. Strong was hired and Mack left town to kill it in Florida pout.
  7. and THAT is the "Spirit" of Aggieland
  8. Liking it, but not loving it. I'll finish it when it occurs to me to watch it. Not compelled enough to binge.
  9. FIFY
  10. Yes. I believe they are divorced now. You big dummy.
  11. I second Wings and Barney Miller. Will throw in the Odd Couple.
  12. I recommend "Man on the Moon", with Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman. I have not seen it yet, but there is a Netflix documentary on my to-watch-list called "Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond" that is a behind-the-scenes look at Carrey's efforts to play Kaufman. I don't know how to explain Carrey not getting at least an Oscar nomination for his work and can only attribute it to Hollywood not wanting to taking him seriously as an actor.
  13. Small world. Dude in the old style Astros hat and blue shirt is a buddy of mine. We had season tickets together when MMP first opened. Glad to see he's moving up in the world.
  14. This podcast has taken a turn for the worse. Two words. "Escape goat."
  15. Second on the "Atlanta Monster" podcast. I am on Episode 3 and there are some notable discrepancies between "Mindhunter" - Season 2 and the events described in the podcast by those close to the investigation; but, it is riveting and fills-in-the-blanks with great detail. Highly recommend.
  16. Anyone catch young Ned Stark as "Don't call me Elmer" Wayne Henley? That interview and the Dean Corll murders deserved so much more time. The actress that played Camille Bell should get an Emmy nod. The speech in the church after the Mayor was shouted down by community members is the high point of the season.
  17. O-H! I-O!
  18. No. That was me holding a gun to my head in Dean Treece's office. Where are we on the Aggy recruiting rollercoaster?
  19. RIP El Ced. I remember seeing him for the first time in DKR against The Woodlands. He had a long run down the home sideline that I will never, ever forget. Speed, finessin, and power. This sucks.
  20. Because they were told it means "ass to mouth"
  21. At least it's right-side up
  22. I grew up a die-hard Raider fan as a kid and Cliff Branch will always be one of my favorite players from that era. He could always be counted on to rise to the level of the game. Thank God the Oilers sucked so bad in the early 70s. Also, I never associated Branch with Stickum. I recall that was more of a Lester Hayes and Fred Biletnikoff thing. RIP, 21
