Let’s fucking go!!!!

Tip your cap. Get ‘em tomorrow. Fucking tree.

I hoped Achane would drop to Dallas.

I have watched the game through a couple of times so far. Here are my thoughts:
1. AD Mitchell is exactly what Quinn needed. His body control is freaky and he adjusts well to the ball in the air with soft hands.
2. We tend to forget how good Worthy is because of the struggles last season, then we see him running wide open all over the field and I was thinking "Oh yeah, there he is."
3. Aaron Bryant is going to be really valuable in the DL rotation, he just doesn't go backwards very much.
4. Maalik Murphy was excellent, he gave himself a nice cushion heading into the summer for that #2 role.
5. Arch looked like a freshman, but he made good decisions with the ball running for his life behind that line. Maalik got a much cleaner pocket behind the same guys for whatever reason.
6. I found myself very impressed with Conner Stroh. He looks like he can be a guy in that 2 deep if needed next year.
7. Cam Williams has Mike Tyson level punch when he gets his hands on guys. He picked one guy up and threw him a yard or two in the air. He did really well at guard and tackle.
8. Kelvin Banks just erases whoever he is lined up against. Total mismatch.
9. Byron Murphy was showing a little more disruption than last season, but I am still not going to pencil him in for 5 sacks next year.
10. Sorrell, Burke, and Vasek were the three edge guys that stood out. Vasek blew by a tackle on more than one occasion and sacked Arch once that wasnt called. Burke can be a major problem if he stops reading so much and pins his ears back and crashes down. He also recorded a sack on Quinn, but he still gets moved in the run game too much. Finkley looks like a fire hydrant out there but physics is not on his side. Tapp looks either lost or unmotivated. Portal candidate.
11. Loved some of the coverage from the dbs. Brooks, Watts, Barron, Muhammad, and Holmes all had really nice plays.
12. Safety was meh. BJ Allen got abused by Worthy all day.
13. Gbenda looks to be spring ball bluster, he was fine but I don't see him keeping Hill off the field. Hill is just too rangy and gets through the wash much more effectively.
14. Sydir Mitchell is going to be a monster when he grows up.
15. I would not pencil Jake Majors in at starting center yet. His ceiling is just so much lower than the guys around him.
16. Lefau had a couple of nice plays, but he needs some more time.
17. Deandre Moore had a tough day, but I am still excited about him. Johntay was really good, but his long TD catch was against a walkon in 1 on 1 coverage, so I am not really giving that too much weight.
18. Blue looked pretty good with a couple of nice runs between the tackles. His TD would have been tackled well before he scored had Barron not had a green jersey on. Red was really intriguing, I can see him giving some less athletic teams like K State or Iowa State some real problems. Baxter showed a couple of nice things, but he looks like he may need a little time to be the guy.
After a few rewatches too, lots of spot on takes here.
I was trying to focus a lot on new players and guys with less experience.
Burke has a really high ceiling. He plays better from a two point stance than with a hand on the ground. Worthy blocking him nasty on one play means summer weight room and more explosiveness is necessary, but he flashed and showed football iq.
Sydir is simply going to be a beast. You are not running through his gap. Period.
The transfer portal was very good for us.
Hill. Going to be hard to keep him off the field. -
Why was the thread title written by a 12 year old girl with ADHD?
I want to like this post with a unicorn emoji or a heart symbol over my like.

I know this won't happen, but I'd like to think that Strickland broke into the office, and replaced the gun in the safe so that when ballistics tests come back, it will show that the gun in the safe was not the murder weapon. I think Strickland hates the douchie DA more than Perry.
I like this theory. I expected them to open the safe and the gun be gone. -
wtf omg

We forced Miami to take a lot more 2pt shots than they are use to by covering the 3pt line so aggressively...
Exactly. Comfort zone denied. -
RT is reminding them how battle tested they are. Don’t let up.
Finish them.- 1

East coast bias is real thing.
Make ‘em eat shit. -
I'm wondering what threats they really pose? They can rock you like a hurricane?
Other than the tourney, I had not seen them play, so decided to do some looking. What is there to fear?
ACC? Maybe a few years ago, but that conference is down, down, down.
Their biggest wins? Duke. Okay, but they split and it's not the Duke of old. Xavier and Purdue. Um. Okay. We know what X is and Purdue got bounced the first week again.
Tournament resume? Drake. Ugly game and won with FTs. The Hoosiers? Big Ten's also rans. Houston. Sampson is a good coach, but his players are pretty much street ballers when faced with real competition. This game was high scoring, but ugly basketball throughout. Cougar High abandoned all hope and tried to play keep up with the three once they fell behind. It didn't hurt that Pack played the game of his life.
Personnel wise, they really are not that deep. Wong, Omier, and Miller are the main guys. With little depth at the big position, we can exploit the paint all night long.
Their defensive rankings are, well, not impressive.
This looks like another team that has good guards with chemistry when they don't face much adversity. But the Longhorns are good at disrupting your chemistry.
It's a shot at the Final Four, so it's obviously time to be respectful of your opponent. But we're on a mission, and they don't seem to have the goods.
What did I miss?

Pretty obvious he should be the hire at this point.

To recap:
In the first few minutes, we lost our big man and our second leading scorer got two fouls, one of which was bullshit. Pretty much the absolute worst possible scenario.
And we beat the shit out of them anyway.
The refs gave them everything in the second half: a bunch of bullshit fouls on us, a bunch of bullshit no-calls on them, a free possession on a ball clearly off of them, an uncalled travel, and more.
And we beat the shit out of them anyway.
My attention span is kind of short. All I got out of that is “We beat the shit out of them.”
Is that correct?- 2

Much ado about nothing I’m sure, but…
I’m currently driving back to Austin from upstate NY and drove through Tennessee today. There is literally a Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park here.
Let that sink in.
