Okay, enough of trying to break this down into various quotes the editing process is a total fucking clusterfuck.
"There are a lot of us non-Democrats on Cloak Room that rally around simple point---President Trump is a lying piece of human fecal matter."
Bush I-"Read my lips, no new taxes."
Bush II-"Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction."
"And he's hurting the GOP"
Then why does he have an over 90% approval rating with Republicans? The only GOP he is hurting are the establishment do-nothing parasites that have buried their heads into the Beltway muck like Mitt Romney.
"he's hurting the country"
Stock market at all time high, unemployment lowest in ages particularly among minorities, wage income increasing for the first time in over a decade. If that is hurting the country then may I have another.
"and he's hurting the planet while he's taking 62 million easily manipulated morons down with him. I'd look forward to laughing at the bewildered looks on the faces of his supporters when he's either removed from office, dies in office, or is defeated in November...while many more millions take the streets to celebrate his no longer being in office---but when the former Director of the CIA tells you he's worried there'll be mass shootings at those types of anti-Trump rallies if he's dead/defeated/removed...then my attitude has shifted from get the man out of office to placate his supporters for the time-being because we're gonna have to figure out what to do with many of them once he's gone."
And you are taking the CIA at it's word? The same CIA that was plotting to spy on Trump's campaign, the same CIA that has produced endless propaganda and been behind many secretive regime changes around the world. An agency with practically no oversight, who becomes belligerent at any attempt by any politician to reign in their power or drain their swamp. Taking the CIA's word on anything involving Trump is like taking CNN's word on anything involving Trump.
"Most of you are smart enough to just pick up and move on, maybe support the next Republican, or whatever. But a good 20-30 million, the truly afflicted among his base, they're gonna be a multi-generation issue for our country. They'll make dealing homelessness or opioid addicts look like a cake-walk. I hate big government more than you could possibly know, but we're gonna have to think about a setting up some kind of tracking system to watch what these morons do for the next several years. When your boyhood hero, Trump, is long gone...it's his batshit base that worries me. It even worries the FBI already. It worries more serious people in very serious ways than I think you understand. That's not hyperbole,"
That's actually the very definition of hyperbole. And again your source is the FBI. An agency that was actively spying on Trump before his election, and plotting against him the moment he won the election. An agency that lied to FISA courts, manipulated 302 documents, withheld exculpatory evidence from the FISA courts and numerous other crimes and other ethics violations. This is like the Hatfields claiming that the McCoys worry serious people in very serious ways.
If the Republican establishment is so superior to Trump then why was Trump able to win Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania in a presidential election? Something the establishment hasn't been able to do since Bush in 1988. I will tell you why. For a span of around 25 years Republican presidential candidates were synonymous with bland and staleness. Bush, Dole, more Bush, even more Bush, McCain, Romney--a menu more bland and less flavorful than Irish food. First Bush was able to ride Reagan's coattails once to win some of those states and his son managed to eke out a couple of elections without them against equally bland and stale Democrats. However demographics have changed and you now need some of these states.
The Republican establishment's issue with Trump is that he is not bland and stale. Why in the hell do you think the Republican Party got the reputation and stereotype of being dominated by bland, stale, boring, old, white men? The Republican establishment hates Trump because he has proven that you can no longer win elections by running the same kind of political campaign these fossils have been set on running since before the invention of FM radio. He has escorted in their irrelevance in the political world and they detest him for this. They have no one to blame but themselves for their lack of political evolution.
