  1. I have no horse in this race, but it's weird to place all blame for injuries on the S&C coach, especially when one of the years you're citing was the fucky COVID year that would have thrown all S&C routines into whack. I don't think injuries in two years with one being an asterisk is a good way to judge a multi-decade career.
  2. 2024 Texas Transfer Tracker (Updated 12/12/23 6:64pm) On3 Transfer Portal Wire: https://www.on3.com/transfer-portal/wire/football/2024/ This is the quick hits for Texas-related transfers only. Out: Offense WR Casey Cain, WR Isaiah Neyor, OL Sawyer Goram-Welch Defense S BJ Allen, S Jalen Catalon, CB X'Avion Brice (North Texas), S Larry Turner-Gooden In: Offense Defense Targets (Estimated Needs): Italics indicate message board speculation only TE (0-1) WR (1-2) Antwane "Juice" Wells Jr. (South Carolina); Deion Burks (Purdue); Matthew Golden (Houston) DE (0-1) Trey Moore (UTSA; visited 12/9) DL (0-1) Jamaree Caldwell (Houston) S (1-2) Andrew Mukuba (Clemson) K/P (1)
  3. Agreed. IMO Worthy will climb up draft boards from here because he brings a unique gravity to an offense that demands attention in the defensive gameplan
  4. "I've actually met Evan Stewart" In hindsight, big harvdog vibes with that one
  5. Seems premature to say DeBoer is a level up of Peterson
  6. Yes, they should do that. Sure, such provisions might be illegal under Texas NIL, law but what matters more is the court of public opinion and A&M will surely win there. Future recruits will love it.
  7. Last year I had this tracker going in the transfer thread. Here's an updated version for the current cycle. I'll try to post it periodically or when there's real news. I'm only going to add players once they are in the portal and only targets with confirmed interest from the Texas side. And here's last year's if anybody wants to check it out
  8. At first I laughed at them melting down over Robinson wearing a cuse jacket. But now he's recruiting current players from the portal and prospective players from their high school class. Aggy, what the fuck are you doing? It's like if OU had just let Lincoln Riley coach through the bowl game
  9. tbf this class is pretty much already wrapped up. The pitch gets stronger every year but they couldn't sell dual all americans, outland trophy, etc back in July
  10. As I understand it: Texas One Fund: NIL collective Burnt Ends: NIL program run by surly for Texas TEs. Not part of TOF. They get paid a yearly amount to go on the podcast and do some promo stuff Tree fiddy club: donations to surly (I believe it goes towards server and tech costs, events like tailgates, BAMF awards, etc.)
  11. They'll have Donovan Green coming back from injury. Projected starter before missing the season due to injury. I think Max Wright might also be able to come back for a 7th year if he tries.
  12. If Collins comes back I think Collins/Bledsore backed up by Broughton/Carter would be ok. We aren't going to be able to replicate Sweat/Murphy but I think each of those guys (well, the ones one the team) bring something
  13. We aren’t going to improve on Worthy/Mitchell. That’s not how we should judge portal takes
  14. god I fucking hate Tim Brando calls
  15. With Elko taking over in cstat, Princely has unfinished business. The new guy must be baptized via spiked volleyball to the face.
  16. Yet we're the one with room temp IQs, apparently
  17. Schools have 48 hours to enter them
  18. Seems like you've been on quite the roll here the last couple hours. Maybe take a break and come back in a bit rather than replying to every other post. You went from making a decent post to getting derailed talking banal shit about Sark, and I'll tell you like the other UW poster a couple days ago that nothing you've said even registers compared to the stuff that's been said on here about him. Of course we like him now but it's been a bumpy road. We did have some decent football discussion in the first couple pages. We've got a month before the game and there will be plenty more to come. I still need to go back and rewatch last year's game and I'll post opinions once I do. Anyways, football post: third down will be a major battle. UW was #11 in conversions at 48.3%. Our once-elite third down defense fell after the OSU game. Georgia passed us up, so we're at #2, allowing 26.5%. I get that we don't want to give up the deep ball, but we have to balance that with stopping the run and not giving up short passes on early downs. I don't know how to do that tbh.
  19. Title IX is federal law and applies to any university that receives federal funding. Nothing to do with the NCAA, which is why it actually has teeth lol
  20. Is burning Arnold's redshirt that big of a deal? His extra redshirt year will be 2027. If he's good, he should be drafted before then. If he's not, a school like OU should be able to recruit or develop someone else by then. Older QBs are running CFB this year, but none of them are doing it at their original school and Arnold had cleaner draft projections as a recruit than they did (I think).
  21. Lol man we're all high on Sark but so far the UW shit talk on him is like 2/10 compared to the things that have been said about him on here even as recently as 2 months ago
  22. At some point in like 2019 or 2020 I ran the numbers and more than half of 5* QBs transfer during their careers. 5* QBs: <50% of the time, they work every time.
  23. You'll get shit here for it but he's a good QB2 take, if he knows that's what he is. Surely the last three years would be a bit humbling for both he and his father. uhhhh let's not get too far out in front of ourselves here
  24. Ok thanks. I want that guy lol
