  1. Probably wasn't the sole reason. There were probably many thousands.
  2. Damn his dad fucked him over Then again how could we ever compete with this illustrious list of Auburn Safeties and Linebackers drafted in the last decade: Deshaun Davis (2019 6th round) Rudy Ford (2017 6th round) Corey Lemonier (2013 3rd round) Auburn was clearly the better choice for his development
  3. I can't believe anybody would believe that volleyball story lol They were actually playing water basketball. Eaton threw an alley oop to Princely, who ended up violently t-bagging Jimbo while finishing the oop.
  4. I agree but the funny thing is that Ingram says he was highly disappointed in last year
  5. Counterpoint: Boyce has picks last year too. Yet he sucked and might have already been passed up by 4 guys younger than him.
  6. Not gonna lie, I laughed
  7. So Luke Brockermeyer enrolled in June 2018. Does anybody know the specifics about the earliest we can put him on scholarship and avoid putting him on the counter? Could we do it after the 2019 season ends or is it two years after he enrolls?
  8. If we finish with this class in the top 5 that will be pretty incredible considering the classes Clemson, Bama, LSU, tOSU, and UGA are putting together. Last year was a down year at the top of the rankings but this year seems like there are a ton of great classes.
  9. Also A&M is at 8 and OU is at 13. We could/should pass both within a week.
  10. I’m very skeptical that Harris will be an ILB. He already plays 3-4 OLB in HS. There’s some clips of him playing DE (upright) in their 4 man fronts. His tape is a lot of pass rushing, setting the edge, and crashing down on runs. There’s no moving sideline to sideline, navigating traffic in the middle of the field, or covering RB routes. His hudl says 6’ 2” 220lbs but he’s still really narrow and will fill out a lot. His listed 40 time is 4.58 which might be good enough for Mac. I guess I’m fine with the take but he looks more like a future BLB or even a DE than an ILB.
  11. IP ban everybody with less than 1162 posts
  12. Vernon Jackson might not play football again due to a neck injury. I assume the jumbo ath DL you're referring to.
  13. A) It's not. I actually hadn't heard about the job thing until it popped up on this board a couple days ago. No clue if it's true. B) And if the job was given with the intent of getting him to play for UGA it would be a violation.
  14. So many straw men being built in this thread. The good posters here didn’t complain about bagmen for Kimber or Lindberg. There’s a reason we’re saying that for Ringo.
  15. College Station is a great town! It's so much better than Austin! --Aggie that doesn't live in College Station
  16. That's him Everyone said we were a strong favorite when we offered. Then we backed off with other guys on the board. He's been an A&M lean since. But now that we've missed on those guys we're circling back.
  17. Haha you put $ instead of S that's really clever
  18. Such says Bijan is announcing at 2
  19. Everybody knows this was a dumb post, but I like how you made it after that ESPN blurb on the Brock bros that had a quote from Blake saying exactly why they're visiting so many schools and that there's even a quote about how the kids may not want to be taking so many visits.
  20. I have a hard time calling any of them whiffs since I'd define that as recruitments like where the staff did something negative to mess it up. But I'd say that all but Richardson are him just getting out-recruited. That's not to say he recruited those guys poorly. He could have done well, but someone else did better. Like I said I think Naivar is a good coach and recruiter--I believe he was Broughton's area recruiter--but I also think he may have been overrated after 2018. But obviously I want to wait and see how these 2020 guys shake out.
  21. Kimber, Rogers, Lindberg, CTjr, etc. aren't guys that are worth really panicking over if they go elsewhere. However, if they all go elsewhere, it's reasonable to be concerned. I posted this 2 weeks ago. Since then, we officially lost Ransom and Rogers and we might lose a guy that I didn't even mention because he was considered a lock. In the 2019 and 2020 cycles Naivar is batting a combined .250 on guys we heavily pursued. (missed on Cine, Williams, Richardson, Catalon, Ransom, Washington; landed Adimora, Owens). Plus the two guys he landed were looking at Boise State and Baylor. Not exactly highly contested recruitments. Now he's stepping up to the plate for Alford, CTjr, and Thompson. Honestly though it doesn't matter how many guys you miss as long as you land some of them. If Naivar goes 2/3 then he's fine. I don't want to put the cart ahead of the horse here because I still think we land CTjr--it just makes way too much sense--but I also don't get why there was an entire page crucifying satya for voicing concerns. Actually I do get it. Dallas and negative recruiting aren't really issues in my mind, but the fact he's a bit concerned is fine.
