  1. So is McGowan the type of player that would cause problems with McClellan? And if he were, does that mean Robinson/Evans would be too?
  2. Also after how much they beat their chest about taking over the state last year
  3. Clemson doesn't seem like it's in the top tier of dirty programs to me. They don't seem as overtly dirty as Oregon/Bama/UGA. I'm sure they cheat just like everyone else, but I haven't directly heard that about them. Although that's also because we don't compete for many croots.
  4. It was EJ that posted it lol. Weird to see him lurking around Rivals now The good news is that apparently this plan is set. Last time TFLoss said Wilson was visiting the article said he was talking to the coaches about visiting that weekend, but it sounds like this one is actually set up.
  5. I don't think anybody is expecting him to contribute next year. It's just an interesting story how he ended up here so it's getting a lot of updates and discussion.
  6. Anwar had an in-depth writeup on Juwan Mitchell. He only had to do one year of JUCO because he went to a prep academy after high school to prevent burning a year of eligibility. He actually signed an LOI with Rutgers in January (I hadn't heard that before) but they didn't accept a math credit and released him from it. Apparently the staff didn't know he wasn't going to Rutgers until Jacoby Jones told them. That makes flipping him from OU even better.
  7. Demieon George writeup from a rivals regional reporter. He and Evans are all over the place in interviews but this one says it's a Texas/Bama battle. Also Ketch being a massive tool in the comments It's funny because we're used to having to read between the lines when 9.95ers say something, but Ketch doesn't know shit. Everybody's asking what his comment means, like if his mom is getting paid, but it really just means he read the article.
  8. Honestly it probably is a good move by A&M to back off Hornsby. But it's also hilarious because they did so much talking about him being the next VY, a 5*, better than Card, etc. Speaking of, I've been trying to search and find the pages with them talking about Hornsby early on but can't find them. Does anyone else have the screenshots?
  9. Well, I'm not going to complain about having a really good guard ready to go for our playoff aspirations in 2020, but we might need him more this year.
  10. I don't think he's reclassifying but he is eligible this fall. Also, he's Jacoby Jones's teammate. Here's a writeup from Suchomel. Sounds like we might hvae lucked our way into another LB.
  11. It lines up with what OB said. The final OV is between OU, A&M, and Arkansas, and it'll probably be OU. The Broughton recruitment really seems like one we will win, but I can't help but shake all the stuff about there being some shadiness in that one.
  12. There were parts of that transcript that I just couldn't understand. Like why would choose those words to say? It doesn't really make sense. So for the first time I listened to the podcast to see if it sounds better than it reads. It doesn't. Somehow, these transcripts are much more coherent than what he actually says. Also, props because it was really accurate.
  13. Interesting that Roach is saying A&M will get an official from Broughton. OB said his OVs were probably going to be Bama, LSU, OU, and tOSU. I'd like that much better lol.
  14. Suchomel put out a blurb that it was a good update for Lindberg (dad's first time on a recruiting visit) but that he is still going to take all 5 visits, including LSU and UGA in June
  15. Pretty incredible update from OB. Hope to god it works out.
  16. Getting to play OU twice is a good start. Dude balls against them.
  17. Rivals: R100 DL Broughton recaps UT spring game, previews OV
  18. Yeah they're not saying he wasn't a take, but that he may have flipped to play defense for Bama rather than OU
  19. On the Drew Sanders r/CFB thread people are saying that Sanders wants to play LB instead of TE now and that may have something to do with the flip
  20. That's great but I don't think this board is disillusioned about our offense last year. It was solid--at times really good--but needs to be better. LSU's offense has been good at times but not on a year-to-year basis.
  21. Lol dude he's agreeing with you that LSU has had good receivers. It's the inability to consistently put together good offenses in spite of that talent that implies a level of waste. And this is coming from Texas fans. We know waste.
  22. To clarify my other post, I don't think CJ will be an early pick. People were saying that bigger receivers go 4th to 7th round and I think that he'll go towards the front of that range. I think he has a higher floor that a lot of other big receivers because he actually uses his length at an elite level already. I get the Lazard comparison, but I think CJ showed a better ability to high-point balls, use his catch radius, and win 50/50s than Lazard did. That's why they're viewed differently as prospects even though they have a similar physical profile and Lazard had better stats. Also I think his knee injury was more serious than the staff let on so I hope he stays healthy next year.
  23. I also think CJ will be limited by his 40, but I also think that he shows a lot more on tape than a lot of other big receivers so he should go on the upper spectrum of where those types of receivers go. Like he'll be one of the first big guys off the board even if it's in the later rounds. I also think Collin showed some speed more often this past year than before, so let's see if he shows at least decent speed more often. His after the catch ability also
