  1. I like how they know him well enough to say BC and everybody knows who they're talking about I wouldn't have known who LK was and I don't know even know the name of their new guy
  2. Washington told OB he's not going to the OU spring game anymore
  3. Hmm he didn't include Broughton
  4. How are they going to put together an all-time great OL class if all the guys they don't lead for drop?
  5. There are a ton of angry Sooners replying to BC
  6. I assume it's about Bryson Washington or maybe Lathan Ransom. I'm fine with OU using their OV this early for Washington though.
  7. What? It says he did participate
  8. Arky has the CBs but idk anything beyond that. It'd be hilarious if we sweep our OL targets and then Crawford and Hayes go to Arkansas.
  9. It's going to be hilarious if they miss on Hayes and Crawford
  10. Yeah Herman's kind of up there if we're being honest. I also don't really think paying guys is slimy.
  11. Washington is worth monitoring. Ringo isn't going to OU and we haven't had Ransom on campus yet or else they would be too.
  12. Poona has spoken
  13. Maybe since Broughton/Collins love Giles and see him more as a friend/brother/uncle/dad than a coach, maybe they can take him to the aggie spring game as a +1 and he can make sure they make it to ours.
  14. Or maybe he'll end up with a flat tire in the morning but get it repaired by that night
  15. OB scrimmage notes
  16. That was my first thought when I saw the news. There's no cure for stenosis, so if it's bad enough to keep him out now, it won't improve later. I guess it's worth monitoring but I'm not sure what would have to change to clear him later. Really sucks for everyone, especially De'Gabriel.
  17. Jones that low and McCoy above Cosmi are crazy My version (projections for 2019) Offense: Collin, Sam, Cosmi, Braun, Ingram, Duvernay, Shack, Moore, Kerstetter, Okafor, Brewer Defense: Jones, Foster, Sterns, Ossai, Cook, Roach, Graham, Wilbon, Green, McCulloch, Adeoye
  18. There's been buzz about Buzz since before the tourney. It wasn't because of Tech.
  19. They say we live in the past, but their graphics team is stuck in the mid 2000s.
  20. I don't see anybody beating him out to start. I think he'll start and be a solid player. But he's getting a lot of hype right now and people seem to be counting on him to make a big jump. I'm just saying I'm skeptical that he'll be anything more than solid. I know he was out of position and injured, but he wasn't very productive last season as a disruptor/pass rusher. After our pass rush was bad to start the season, that was supposed to be something he could provide after moving back to DE/returning from injury. But he only put up 1.5 TFLs all season. For reference, Charles put up 7 TFL/4 sacks and Poona had 5.5 TFLs in their junior seasons. Roach also won't benefit from Charles pulling blocks next year (although Ossai might if he comes on). I just think he'll need to make a major leap in order to live up to the expectations of being the next Charles or one of the best players on the defense next year. I definitely don't hold it against Malcolm for his play in the first couple games. I have no idea why the coaches thought he could play Mike/Rover. It was obvious after one series that he was going to be really bad there. I think that's what feeds some of my hesitancy about McCulloch, since he's also a B-Backer being moved to Rover. I liked a lot of what I saw from him last year but it feels like there are some similarities. Maybe slimming down will help him transition better.
  21. What did Roach do last year to show he's a damn good player? Also, maybe I'm misremembering this, but wasn't the narrative last year that Roach wasn't effective playing as a down lineman his sophomore year but that he'd be better moving back to LB? It wasn't his fault he was terrible at Mac/Rover to start the year but now it seems the opposite narrative is taking hold. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he'll be bad, but I don't see him as our third straight DLOY.
  22. Dunlap says that Coburn took all the first team DT reps during the open portion today. Personally, Coburn winning the job would make me feel better about our front 7. I'm not buying the Malcolm Roach and Jeffrey McCulloch hype, so Coburn winning the job (which implies he beat out the solid Wilbon) means there's a chance to have another breakout guy in the front 7 along with Ossai.
  23. Huh, Kenyon Green at guard already. Whodda thought.
