  1. Which one of the merry band of fucktards do you give the interim title? Maybe Carrington since he hasn’t proven he can’t coach?
  2. Well, play clock was running out so a quick stop to announce there won’t be a review and reset the play clock is about par for our shitty refs
  3. You severely underestimate just how bad Mensa sucks as a HC 53 players who are 4-5* and this is the product. Oscar Meyer could fucking fix this better than Mensa has

    Fire Urban

Might as well get a jump on it
  5. This team sucks so bad. Year 4 of Mensa and this is what we get. Fire the fuck out of everyone.
  6. I found it over on texags ”we drove all the way from gainsville to cellege station and about 1/2 block from the stadium we got lost. Couldn’t figure out where we were or which way to go, but there was this group of about 50,000 aggy all headed past our car and they all offered us beer and helped us find the way it was amazing, that many people all trying to help us out even though we were in full gata regalia. They took us through all the historic sites and tol us all about their history and traditions, wow, simply incredible. When they saw where our seats were located they actually argued over who would trade with us so we could see everything from the best angle, especially the fightin aggy band. i have never seen anything like it, nicest stadium, nicest people and best traditions in the country. It really made me think hard about how rundown the swamp is and where my money is going. We won, but I felt so bad for all the nice aggy, and wouldn’t you know it, we got lost again leaving the stadium. Another large group of maroon and white picked us up and carried us around until we found our car, simply incredible. They gave us more beer, a couple cans of Copenhagen for the long drive back and welcomed us back the next time we play here in 2132. they are the best fans at the greatest, most beautiful school I have ever visited. I will be pushing my kids to attend aggy over UF so long as they manage to get accepted. Crossing fingers!
  7. This is Mullens 3rd season at UF, he went 10-3, 11-2, and he’s 2-0 right now. He’s a better coach than Mensa by a long shot, though that’s not saying much.
  8. They haven’t started a season 1-2 since ‘97 during their Blake short stint. Those fuckers went 3-8 in ‘96 and still fucking beat us. thats the same year “maybe we beat them by 21” happened, so there’s that.
  9. I was listing programs that wouldn’t be an obvious step down for Urban, because he’s not at a place in life to just collect a paycheck like Brown or Miles. Personally I think it’s more like Dome first and USC second. Us, OU and LSU are probably pretty even. He doesn’t seem to mind taking over a stacked roster which is why Bama if Saban retires or Clemson if Saban retires and picks up Dabo, seems like a longer shot but I wouldn’t rule it out. Kelly os doing ok at Dome but they won’t keep him forever if he doesn’t win big in the next few years. USC is probably the best bet. OU looks like they are imploding, Riley could go NFL if it gets really bad, but I can’t see him getting fired in the next few years at least unless they lose aMost of their games or don’t turn it back around next year. LSU, who fucking knows we know what we have in shithead, if we lose 4 or more this year he should be cut loose but we know how this story goes. There’s momentum starting to build behind making a move but we will have to see how the season plays out to know if it’s enough. If he returns to coaching, and I think he will, my bet is on the next opening at one of the teams above, and there will be at least one opening this year or next. Here’s to hoping Helton can get his shit together and win a bunch of games this year.
  10. Here you go Urban, heres Mensas salary/buyout for the next 3 years. You basically have 3 options here, fire him and give him his buyout, demote him and keep paying him on schedule, or shame the smug fuck into quitting and keep the money for yourself. Your call. Seriously, our current trajectory may have us => 20 losses in 4 seasons under this asshole who will have been paid nearly $1M for each of those losses.
  11. Put me down for 2. i like this idea, plus give Urban a head-HC title, and control of the program. “ So Mensa, what would you would say you do here?“
  12. I’m on the Urban train and I don’t care if it’s for 2 years, 5 years or whatever. We need someone to turn this thing around quickly, wins, recruiting, development, fan engagement. 2020 is shining a light on things and realignment will probably be significant this go around, B12 looks like a trailer park on fire and our leverage is slipping rapidly. he took over a 5-6 Utah team and went 12-0 with McBeides recruits in year 2. Spurrier left UF in a better place than Mack left UT, but Zook took aver and was a 5 loss kind of guy. Charlie strong took over interim after Zook was fired and Urban came in and won his first MNC with Zooks guys in year 2. Took over 6-7 fOSU from Luke Fickell and his first year went 12-0. Won MNC in year 3. Fuck 5 loss Mensa, it’s who and what he is, completely average. Urban likely won’t catch Sabans win total but he can solidify his legacy with MNCs at 3 different stops.
  13. Not our bowl but wasn’t the Oregon OU game in a bowl, the onsides kick? Oregon behind, kicked onside, Oregon player touched ball before it went 10 yards and the ball bounced out of the pile where the OU player picks it up. Refs said there was conclusive video evidence that OU touched the ball first and Oregon recovered, it was fucking hilarious and Oregon won. I really hate to see ref fuckery, but that game was awesome.
  14. Last Dec-Jan was the only window USC has had to fire Helton and hire Urban but they can’t get out of their own way. after coaching UF then fOSU, there’s only a few programs who could reasonably expect to hire Urban. Bama, Dome, USC, UT, OU, Michigan, LSU, clemson probably... everyone else would be a significant step down and probably only happen in ~5 more years with him talking a victory lap ala spurrier, Miles, Mack.
  15. Im in. Just imagine what happens if someone like Zack Smith found his way to west Austin in a mid to late 80’s mustang GT with $20k cash and 8 oz of cocaine upon arrival. Coke and cash will be waiting on the floorboard of a midsized tractor like a backhoe or a bobcat parked off Westlake Dr. I’m good to work out the details, maybe it takes a vette or $30k instead of 20, I just need one of you surly degenerates to source the 1/2 lb of blow. The rest is shall we say, my pleasure. and no fucking narcotics stings either, I’m too old to give a shit about cocaine, this is all about public service for the greater good
  16. Drop off? Try take off. Dude, considering this is Texas and our name is on the front, we are running 4th or maybe 3rd at best this cycle. Bama, OU and LSU are mopping up along side with fOSU cherry picking at the top as usual. Fuck I fucking hate Mensa.
  17. He’s not really even a plus recruiter, he does about well as a blanket warmed by bum piss should do at UT. The fact Charlie was worse is an indictment of him and in now way speaks to Mensa recruiting. I was watching the ravens play last week and was thinking holy shit there’s a LOT of guys from Texas on that team and only 2 played here. That’s the last decade at UT and until we get someone who can actually coach and turn this thing around the states top talent will continue to go elsewhere.
  18. You have Mensa ranked too high, I’m not sure but he might be the worst HC in the conference. That’s not sour grapes after a shitty loss, it’s more looking at it objectively. Hcs j#1 job is hire good assistants, constantly be on the look to replace guys who get poached and fire deadbeats. Well, he sucked ass at building his staff, had to fire most of them under duress after 3 years of sucking, and still didn’t get them all out. Then he went out underwhelmed again. Talent. UT has more talent across the board than all but OU and it’s close enough to argue both ways. Matt Rhule was probably the best recent example of what a good coach is capable of doing at a program, Mensa is pretty much the opposite of that. Hes not a leader, he’s an immature, insecure introvert who would be better suited in a career OC role. He’s just not serious HC material. Miles is a better coach than Mensa. Hell, at this point I would rather poach chapel hill again than keep Mensa.
  19. Been trying to figure out who mensa reminds me of, kinda like Ari Spyros character in Billions? He’s immature and insecure,, he not a leader, he doesn’t have it.. Listen to an interview with guys who have been to the top like Dabo or Urban, it’s confidence. After a loss Mensa, gets so nervous, on the edge of tears and playing with a water bottle that you just want to smack the pussy out of him. He mistook base camp for the top of the mountain when he got the UT job, and he spent so much time congratulating himself and rolling around in his new found money and position that it took him 3 years to figure out the summit is still a long fucking way up.. his #1 job as HC is to continually identify good coaches who can also recruit and replace them when they get poached or fire them if they suck. 3 years in and no one has been poached, but he was pressured to fire most of his staff and he still missed a few. He did go get some unemployed coaches as consultants and to fill out his new staff. But the difference with Saban and Urban is they actually get good former HCs who got canned because they fucked up while Mensa finds guys who got fired for being shitty coaches. he wasn’t experienced enough for the job, and I don’t think he has enough leadership ability to ever succeed here. He gave us an uptick in recruiting but that’s going to dry up quick, already seeing it in 21 class. And the recruiting upgrades don’t matter if we aren’t developing them and getting guys drafted. CDC you’re going to have to pull the trigger sooner than later. The higher you aim for a replacement the easier it will be to find money.
  20. Oh next year is going to be much worse with mensa at the wheel, breaking in a new QB, 3/5 of the OL who are being replaced by at thin group of 3* recruits, and there’s going to be some early departures on defense that will be noticeable. DL, p/k are the 3 groups which could be better just from experience and maturing out, pretty much every other position group is a big ? Or probable regression. keeping fuckhead for another year will likely have similar effects to keeping chuck a year past when we should have. Recruiting falls further behind, holes in roster widen, and the rebuild will be that much harder. He’s not the guy. We fired a guy who let the ship flounder, but he never took on as much water as either of his successors. So we got a coordinator who won a MNC under Urban then parlayed that into 2 good seasons at a mid major. He fucking sucked here so we fired him. we replaced him with... a coordinator who won an MNC under Urban then parlayed that into 2 good seasons at a mid major.... see a fucking pattern? Why was it so hard for so many to see after the first failed attempt?
  21. That 1 “good” year when we only had 4 losses? Our expectations have slipped over past decade
