  1. Haven’t seen it discussed, but in the 1st Quarter Mitchell got dinged up and they stopped play for like 5 minutes. Then they restarted play but had to stop it again to tell him he had to sit a snap. So we have an actual LB coach who is responsible for 2 fucking guys and he does what exactly? Doesn’t know the rules or can’t keep tabs on 50% of his position group? And Mensa needed to focus more on the big picture and do more HC things. This entire fucking staff sucks balls.
  2. More like Martha from The Americans
  3. It really is hard to go undefeated, there’s a fair list of coaches in the modern era who have done it once. That list includes Saban, Dabo, Carroll, Stoops, 3 different Bowdens, JJ, Switzer, and a bunch of others others. Urban has done it twice and that’s pretty rare company in recent memory. Royal 2x, Osborne 3x, Paterno 5x, Bryant 3x Hayes 2x., Wilkinson 3x, Only counting perfect seasons btw. Petersen did it 2x at Boise so small asterisk Saban is considered arguably the goat, but I think that title should be reserved for Gil Dobie. He had 14 undefeated and 11 perfect seasons. That included an 9 year tenure at Washington where he went 58-0-3. That’s pretty incredible for any period, hell its the same timeframe aggy claims most of theirs The most perfect seasons by P5 teams are Michigan(15), Dome(13), OU(11), Bama(10), UT, USC, Corn (9)... all the rest. Side note: aggy has 3, tied with Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan and a bunch of others but behind powerhouses Colorado School of the Mines and Case Western Reserve, yet they still think they belong in the blue blood conversation. We think we are falling out of the club because of a horrible decade, they think they belong because of 3 good seasons in the past 2 centuries.
  4. Your right about good coaches, fOSU wasn’t a 6-7 roster that Urban inherited. It’s harder to win with 4-5* than with 2-3* if you’re not a great coach. All the high stars think they are NFL talents and don’t handle adversity well, they need someone strong to keep them in check. The low star guys know they are lucky to still be playing ball and play each game like it’s their last. That will rarely overcome a superior team that’s clicking, but often works when they are poorly coached and in disarray.
  5. The only way he gets fired mid-season is Urban says yes, otherwise it’s end of season because coaches aren’t available yet. if Urban declines and UNC keeps winning, everyone should get a little nervous. But seriously, I would welcome Mack back for 2021 before I would welcome Mensa back, and that’s saying a lot. Going 11-1 and losing to OU every year is better than going 7-5 and losing to OU every year.
  6. Not B12 but ref related and there’s no game thread for pig/barn yesterday so here goes... barn was down with under a minute to play and no timeouts. The intent was to spike the ball to stop the clock but the exchange was bad and QB dropped the ball, picked it up and turned spiking the ball backward about a yard. Pig guy scrambled and jumped on the ball. at that point it should have been a live ball off a backward pass and pig ball, at least that’s what I think. the refs called it illegal grounding, loss of down with 10 second run off. Barn kicks FG and kicks off back to pig with only 7 seconds remaining. The ruling that not having a clean exchange on the snap means you can’t spike the ball to stop the clock and with intentional grounding, the ball spiked backward should also be treated as a lateral and live ball, correct? It’s wasn’t questionable either, he turned and spiked the ball backwards probably 1-2 yards because of crashing defenders in the middle. as it were, the call and 10 second run off benefitted barn. Seriously, fuck pig, but barn is going to be top 10 this week with a loss because SEC hype myth and I think even our shitty team would beat them, they suck.
  7. Holy shit this thread is a great distraction from our suck. Lawrence was built exactly like King if he was 5” shorter, 45lbs lighter and was a bobble head. She really is a perfect aggy has anyone actually seen KKL and fatkid in the same room together?
  8. Man, those SEC defenses are real life big boy football.simply amazing. SEC busy exposing their own myth, so what does the new fable sound like?
  9. Money’s getting motivated. theoretically he could torn it around, start kicking ass and win out, go to CCG and prove his doubters wrong. That would take a lot of the building wind out of the sails, but no one thinks that’s happening.
  10. That middle finger was fucking awesome. I need that for my avatar
  11. DB should have dropped a bag of dicks on the ground to distract Stoops
  12. He’s not, this experiment has run it’s course.
  13. Which one of the merry band of fucktards do you give the interim title? Maybe Carrington since he hasn’t proven he can’t coach?
  14. Well, play clock was running out so a quick stop to announce there won’t be a review and reset the play clock is about par for our shitty refs
  15. You severely underestimate just how bad Mensa sucks as a HC 53 players who are 4-5* and this is the product. Oscar Meyer could fucking fix this better than Mensa has

    Fire Urban

Might as well get a jump on it
  17. This team sucks so bad. Year 4 of Mensa and this is what we get. Fire the fuck out of everyone.
  18. I found it over on texags ”we drove all the way from gainsville to cellege station and about 1/2 block from the stadium we got lost. Couldn’t figure out where we were or which way to go, but there was this group of about 50,000 aggy all headed past our car and they all offered us beer and helped us find the way it was amazing, that many people all trying to help us out even though we were in full gata regalia. They took us through all the historic sites and tol us all about their history and traditions, wow, simply incredible. When they saw where our seats were located they actually argued over who would trade with us so we could see everything from the best angle, especially the fightin aggy band. i have never seen anything like it, nicest stadium, nicest people and best traditions in the country. It really made me think hard about how rundown the swamp is and where my money is going. We won, but I felt so bad for all the nice aggy, and wouldn’t you know it, we got lost again leaving the stadium. Another large group of maroon and white picked us up and carried us around until we found our car, simply incredible. They gave us more beer, a couple cans of Copenhagen for the long drive back and welcomed us back the next time we play here in 2132. they are the best fans at the greatest, most beautiful school I have ever visited. I will be pushing my kids to attend aggy over UF so long as they manage to get accepted. Crossing fingers!
  19. This is Mullens 3rd season at UF, he went 10-3, 11-2, and he’s 2-0 right now. He’s a better coach than Mensa by a long shot, though that’s not saying much.
  20. They haven’t started a season 1-2 since ‘97 during their Blake short stint. Those fuckers went 3-8 in ‘96 and still fucking beat us. thats the same year “maybe we beat them by 21” happened, so there’s that.
  21. I was listing programs that wouldn’t be an obvious step down for Urban, because he’s not at a place in life to just collect a paycheck like Brown or Miles. Personally I think it’s more like Dome first and USC second. Us, OU and LSU are probably pretty even. He doesn’t seem to mind taking over a stacked roster which is why Bama if Saban retires or Clemson if Saban retires and picks up Dabo, seems like a longer shot but I wouldn’t rule it out. Kelly os doing ok at Dome but they won’t keep him forever if he doesn’t win big in the next few years. USC is probably the best bet. OU looks like they are imploding, Riley could go NFL if it gets really bad, but I can’t see him getting fired in the next few years at least unless they lose aMost of their games or don’t turn it back around next year. LSU, who fucking knows we know what we have in shithead, if we lose 4 or more this year he should be cut loose but we know how this story goes. There’s momentum starting to build behind making a move but we will have to see how the season plays out to know if it’s enough. If he returns to coaching, and I think he will, my bet is on the next opening at one of the teams above, and there will be at least one opening this year or next. Here’s to hoping Helton can get his shit together and win a bunch of games this year.
  22. Here you go Urban, heres Mensas salary/buyout for the next 3 years. You basically have 3 options here, fire him and give him his buyout, demote him and keep paying him on schedule, or shame the smug fuck into quitting and keep the money for yourself. Your call. Seriously, our current trajectory may have us => 20 losses in 4 seasons under this asshole who will have been paid nearly $1M for each of those losses.
