  1. Because their traditions are real and tangible, every aggy has lived to experience them. Meanwhile, winning football is just a story they pass along much like a fable. It has grown from 1 to 3 as time wears on, no one alive actually saw it happen so who’s to say otherwise? And if aggy were being perfectly honest with themselves, the source they use to claim 3 MNCs has UT with 9 including 1914 which predates their “3”. But aggy don’t think that way, 3:9 is a better ratio than 1:4, therefore they are catching up to us.
  2. The referenced link shows that the bulk of the spike is in the Hispanic communities, both by numbers and locations. 78741 and 78744 are the SE Hispanic center while 78753 and 78758 is the NE center. I know a good number of people from both of these areas and the don’t give a fuck level is high to very high in the communities. Large gatherings, no masks, crowded shopping venues, and an overall lack of concern. We had a small family gathering last weekend inside the lake austin/travis horseshoe and a parade went through a semi rural area, probably 150-200 people, around 30 charro riders (dancing horses), but most piled into different trailers. One with a band, one with a BBQ set up, several with older folks sitting at picnic tables, and a hay ride with 45-50 kids crammed on. It’s was quite a sight, but social distancing and any thought of a mask were clearly not a consideration.
  3. I spent a few weeks looking at this around the holidays. At first glance I thought New Mexico close to Jemez springs, but after reading about the guy I settled on a location in Montana along Madison rivers earthquake lake.
  4. Visiting family in CA summer of 1984, went to Imperial beach and we stopped at McDonalds. We were getting in the car when the gunman started shooting. Dad started to go back in, mom went bat shit hysterical, so he drove a block away and found a pay phone to call police. Inlaws, nephew shot a cop, his mom and himself. Completely fucked up disfunctionals, but didn’t see it going that direction. We had to deal with the house afterwards, his room was plastered with infowars crap. Side note: his dad literally drank himself to death a couple years earlier, a $7M+ lottery ticket sold at his corner liquor store a couple weeks prior and was never claimed. When we had to deal with the house after the murder/suicide his home office was still intact and there were about a thousand old lottery tickets in drawers. Crazy HS Gf’s dad is in prison for killing her mom. I didn’t like them much because our interests weren’t aligned. Thing is, I’m certain he didn’t do it, he was set up (by crazy and accomplice) He was smart and methodical, OCD immaculate. So he went all Dexter at the scene, then decided to drop the murder weapons and some bloody paraphernalia on top of the dumpster at his office.
  5. It’s kinda funny when someone thinks “man, Detroit is the biggest shithole in America. I can’t wait to get the fuck away from here. Texas is on the opposite side of the country, sign me up.” Then, “Howdy!!”
  6. Houston’s paper mill, 2 million people can smell it. If it was music and 2 million people could hear it, they’d tell em to turn it the fuck off. -RTSW
  7. Friend from college tried to join a police force and he tested too high and wasn’t accepted. He was basically told it was expensive to send people through training and if they are too smart they get bored and quit so it’s a waste of money. His dumbass aggy dropout friend made it.... 3 guys I grew up with had pretty well placed dads, a police lieutenant, a captain and a judge. It’s embarrassing how much shit we got away with.
  8. I have always thought those 2 plans makes so much more sense than what we have now, with plan 1 being the most practical but plan 2 would be my preferred.
  9. Hell yes. Kindle might have age and experience but hasn't played in like 8 years.
  10. I swear, my eyesight is starting to go and every fucking time you post I'm like "oh, he workswithweed" and I look at your av at all that green thinking it's weed. Every single time.
  11. Bama sitting at 48 in composite with 4 recruits. 3-4* and 1-3*. One commit in the comp top 50 and only showing to be in it on one other (Brock). They appear to be falling right off the cliff. Meanwhile, fuck fOSU. I can't think of a fanbase that less deserves the seamless transfers of power that they have. 2 coaches in a row won national titles but had to go for being shitheels and they still don't miss a beat and are recruiting like last decade Bama.
  12. West Virginia doing work. Coal mines, moonshine, and methamphetamine good life
  13. Anyone else ever get the feeling the occupational backgrounds on surly look something like this? 5 physicians, 2 accountants, 3 realtors, couple of small business owners, maybe a dozen tech guys, a military lifer or two, half a dozen construction contractors, couple of teachers, a few unemployed oil barons, a handful of retirees, 4 professional douchebags and around 6,000 lawyers?
  14. That wasn't sustainable for them either, the SEC narrative was built by Bama with an assist from LSU. UF helped get it started but that was a decade and several coaches ago, its the Bama show with LSU coming out of the bullpen for the save. Any player Bama is after who is determined to play SEC isn't settling for aggy. They will get the guys who think they are Bama good but aren't like Sloneal, and that's bad for team chemistry With our lost decade, aggy almost certainly would have benefitted had they stayed, they might have won something meaningful like a conference championship or 2. At least over here they were king of the dorks, over there they are just dorks.
  15. Read through the credits and the labs cited. Shi Zhengli and the Wuhan virology lab. I posted the UNC copy so that dumbfucks wouldn't say "oh look, some paper written by some Chinese person". The original article was written by and attributed to Shi Zhengli and the wuhan lab of virology. She is after all the one who discovered the virus most closely related to COV19 https://www.nature.com/articles/nm.3985 when I first read the article it read much differently. Since then there has been this: Change history 30 March 2020 Editors’ note, March 2020: We are aware that this article is being used as the basis for unverified theories that the novel coronavirus causing COVID-19 was engineered. There is no evidence that this is true; scientists believe that an animal is the most likely source of the coronavirus. Also, up until a month ago if you googled her name it pulled up many articles she authored, how she found the closest relative to COV19, the different bat corona viruses she studied, how she was recombining bat corona viruses to make new ones. But now with a cursory search they aren't there, just a bunch a news feeds about her disappearing and denials that she has defected to the west with intelligence files This thing stinks, but you keep fucking that wet market pangolin
  16. Not just speculation, let me help out with this line of thinking. Therefore, we synthesized the SHC014 spike in the context of the replication competent, mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone (SHC014- MA15) here: https://www.nature.com/articles/nm.3985.pdf?origin=ppub And here: https://www.med.unc.edu/orfeome/files/2018/03/a-sars-like-cluster-of-circulating-bat-coronaviruses-shows-potential-for-human-emergence.pdf this is a scientific paper about how they were combining SHC014 which is the virus 96% similar to COV19 with SARS to create something that And about SHC014 https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/11/151110115711.htm This virus is highly pathogenic and treatments developed against the original SARS virus in 2002 and the ZMapp drugs used to fight Ebola fail to neutralize and control this particular virus, i mean, it's not as good as YouTube for some people on here, but they were absolutely fucking around with bat corona viruses and making new ones that were both highly pathogenic, infects the airways through ACE2, transfers straight from bat to humans, and resistant to known treatments. We don't know for certain where this virus originated but all the coincidences surrounding the lab make it hard to think it instead came from the market a block away with no known intermediate host. Seems a lot more likely it came out of the lab and the market turned out to be an early place for it to spread easily.
  17. 65% of the population in the US is under age 45, maybe that's the quickest and safest route to herd immunity?
  18. Or for Thujone doodle-a-cock-or-two Would be great to have him in this thread with charts and shit.
  19. Their S&C program was terrible, they were gassed before the second quarter even started.
  20. Did that in 7th grade, in its early years, back then it was the SAT. They took 2 kids from each local middle school, took the test in the Austin high library. Scored high enough for auto acceptance into UT if I were graduating HS at the time instead of being a dumbass in middle school. Was solely interested in chasing girls and was legitimately worried I would get sent straight to college and never get laid. Priorities and what not. Welp, over 30 years later and I'm still a dumbass. Still better than being a smart aggy, that shit would scar you for life /csb
  21. Government intelligence is an oxymoron. They gave it the ole college try with the wet market push and denial of the lab involvement. But alas, the plan was foiled again by a talking squirrel and regarded moose. Join us next time for "wuhan first? Yes."
  22. Additional cliffs: the lab was working on bat corona viruses and how they infect humans. The video did mention the labs lead researcher Shi Zhengli "bat woman" has been doing gain of function experiments with corona viruses and the s protein. They probably should have mentioned that the bat woman has published papers on a virus she found in 2013 that was highly pathogenic and couldn't be controlled by SARS treatments So what to do with all this? Let's take the parts of this one virus that is highly infectious and combine it with this other one that is deadly. Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system2, we generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/11/151110115711.htm They were studying bat corona viruses, and they were recombining bat corona viruses to make new bat corona viruses that specifically infect humans. At ground zero for the outbreak. but there is no way this thing came from the lab, and we know this because scientists who were involved with these experiments and similar types of grant funded work told us it can't have happened. Thats like Phillip Morris and Reynolds determining that it is air pollution and not their cigarettes that cause smokers to get lung cancer.
