  1. No one likes losing, particularly when you are used to winning--which is what most kids starting at big programs are used to from youth league up. What we are seeing is far more than petulance and discord from not getting their way. This is a program issue, we have terrible coaching that has zero accountability for their abysmal player development, preparation and game management. A terrible coaching staff that blames the players publicly, and privately it's likely worse, as the guy at the top accepts zero responsibility for their failures. The same immature clown who mocked an opposing player once the win was at hand The head narcissist in charge says "the loss of composure is completely unacceptable, and I promise this will be dealt with punitively." Ok, so what about the fucking terrible coaching going on, that has been going on since you arrived? When will that be punished? You demoted 2 deadbeats because they sucked at their jobs. That was almost 2 years ago asshole, and those guys are still drawing mid-6 figure checks. Look around you, you are losing your team if you haven't already. Your 1st three years here are now officially worse than Macks last 3 that got him fired. Recruiting will be the next domino to fall and the transfer portal will ramp up, then you just might realize that you're done here even if you are still drawing a check and leaving with a sizeable chunk of money. Because we are Texas we will not do the prudent thing and replace you now with someone who can immediately utilize the one asset you brought to Austin, good recruiting. No, you will get another year, possibly 2 depending on who you persuade to come in, but I'm guessing the replacements are already here and you will be all but gone this time next year.
  2. There was definitely some dirty going on. It's a penalty when a 300lb DL tackles the QB after the pass and drops all their weight on them. Unless it's Sam. Its also quite the penalty to hit a QB when he slides, particularly when it's the 2nd defender to arrive and the QB has completed their slide when they make forcible contact. Unless it's Sam. He has a reputation for toughness but he's still a QB and absolutely should be treated and protected as such.
  3. He did blow a lead like that to OU, but we still squeaked out the win at the very end. HCs primary job is to hire good assistants, and replace them when they get promoted away or you fire them for underperforming. Guys who can coach, recruit, develop talent, and game plan. Ideally you find guys who do all of those things well, but really you have to pick your poison. recruiting is the only function his staff appears to do well. Fuckface sucks at his job. He might have been a good OC, who really knows? 2 years as a HC at a midmajor tells you absolutely nothing about his competency or ability to do job #1.
  4. He way to successful to go to the Saban school for rehabilitating wayward HCs, he serving time at the ESPN booth version. He will be coaching again this time next year, probably getting ready for whichever CCG is relevant. Or NFL.
  5. 5 cock rings 4 call girls 3 French ticklers 2 ounces of blow and a limo ride to Hermans house for Zach Smith. That should just about take care of it.
  6. Yes though we did get recruiters, we are getting good players but they aren't being developed or coached. Finding good recruiters is much easier than finding good coaches, and that leads into 2 opposite approaches for a rebuild. A good coaching staff comes in and turns things around, recruiting will improve as a result. Or get a good recruiting staff and stack talent for 3 years, then hire coaches to win with the talent you have amassed. So it's time to fire this asshole and hire a coach who can do something with the talent we have. Fuck this mother fucker. The press conference, L O fucking L
  7. He's finished here, unfortunately he won't be fired for another year.
  8. I'll pay the buyout if someone chips in on the next guy.
  9. not a single one of our O Line able to drive a defender on run plays.
  10. Dude, it's a 12,,000 sf home at $300/sf. Ha! Composition roof, looks like one of the finest homes Toll Brothers has to offer from their 36 different configurations and finishes making it truly one of a kind or whatever the fuck. And then he spent his first 2 paychecks having restoration hardware drop off their showroom. Give an aggy money and this is how they spend it.
  11. Tl;dr the best Herman can do this year by winning out is equal the win/loss total for the last 3 years of fupm that got him fired. Extension looking pretty dumb right about now.
  12. Wonder how many of these fuck you OPs are because they were hoping we were finally shedding weight on staff, vs how many thought bye bye Bijan.
  13. 6-6 is good, 10-4 is bad. I was never a fan of the hire because it felt like a carbon copy of the last coach. Good coordinator, won MNC with Urban, used that to get G5 HC job, had good success with a really good QB for a couple years, parlayed that to HC at UT, brought nearly entire staff including several deadbeats. I am now fully on board the fuck this guy, he can't leave soon enough train and 6-6 should do the trick. 10-4 is about as bad as it gets because as long as he can get to 10 wins he most likely keeps his job, and I don't think he's a good enough HC to ever be a great coach. Primary job of a HC is hiring good/great assistants. Keep hiring them when yours get poached and upgrading underperformers. He fucking sucks at the most important part of his job, and he's an asshole.
  14. At this point 10-4 is the worst case scenario. I think 6-6 is the best we can hope for next year, that will be his Waterloo.
  15. Haha. Not sure if Urban would take the job, and saban is fine where he's at. Saban would have taken the job 6 years ago, back when he was still looking at another decade of stacking his legacy and pallets of cash. So many programs have boosters worse than ours. Places like UH and until very recently OSU have a primary booster who is all up in your shit. One of the reasons Saban was willing to change jobs was booster relations. You would think winning 3 MNCs in 4 years would buy you the moon, but 2010 happened and he lost to SCe, LSU and Barn, in the same season! Gasp.
  16. Bet he would take 5/45M Rhule is looking like a damn good coach. Would he bolt for the NFL? That's what a lot of people think. If he started winning championships, UT is one of the handful of places that can pay more than even high paying NFL gigs. Leaving for the NFL probably depends on how a coach feels about recruiting. Many aspects of the college job make it an "easier" job than NFL, but this is probably the biggest difference maker and I have no idea how Rhule feels about that year round aspect of the job. Hermans extension was stupid considering his contract structure with the 250k annual raises, probably should have waited to see year 3 trajectory or maybe a 1 year extension would have sufficed. He basically got a $13M bonus for winning the sugar bowl. A rational approach is fOSU going from $7.5M for Urban down to 4.5M for Day (he's going to get a deserved raise) Or OU going from the giant bag of dicks down to $3.8M for Riley to start (also won hardware, CFP appearance and subsequent earned raise)
  17. My opinion after he was hired wasn't overly popular at the time, though I am almost certain I got a +rep from Bschoolprof "Great coordinator wins MNC, gets HC job at tier 2 school and has really good success, then packs his staff and brings his entire baggage to UT. Deja vu"
  18. You're an idiot. aggy wasn't paying attention to what part of the helmet he was using to hit with. And YOU should go back and watch the video. He is getting dragged away by 71 but he's trying to get at MR, not trying to swat him away in defense. And yeah, the 1st hit didn't and might not have ever killed him, but he sure as fuck was lining up for a second shot that pouncey stopped. Just get over it, MG was not trying to defend himself, he was trying to brain Rudolph. And before you post back bullshit, I have been hit in the head by a helmet after mine came off and it hurt. That's before H2H was penalty and before losing your helmet prohibited you from continuing to play. It's plastic, but it isn't all plastic as the forehead part reinforced by face mask doesn't give. I'm pretty sure I could kill someone swinging a helmet with a couple swings, MG is lucky he didn't completely fuck up.
  19. Fire anyone who doesn't like it, have their car towed, then have your security team escort them out of your building. Then have someone from HR box their shit up, spray paint one of those little army man parachutes metallic gold and throw it at them from your office. Call down to legal and tell them to handle the rest Sincerely Surly 0.1%ers
  20. The records are good indicators of success, the top 5 finishes are BECAUSE SECx3 If they were both still in the B12 with their respective records after joining SEC they would have ended up ranked around the 10ish spot. Your point still stands, SECx3 is just another conference except their bottom dwellers are worse than most others. Funny thing about the narrative of SEC defenses, LSU and Bama going spread and their defenses suffer. Playing good spread offenses makes your defense look worse, see 46-41. And running your own spread hurts your defense because they have less rest and play more snaps. Sushi had a good breakdown pre-LSU where he pointed out statistics about their defense collapsing after ~50 snaps. Play 3 yards and a clouds of dust shortens games and limits snaps, making your defense look better.
  21. Man, than last part is aggy logic at its best. Someone actually thought about that then typed it out. Your team lost 3 games. Our team lost 3 games. But there's no way you could beat any of the teams that beat us, therefore you are a 6 loss team. Painful
  22. B1G has 6 ranked SECx3 has 5 B12 has 5 AAC has 3 PAC 2 ACC Clemson dome and Boise Lesson? PAC sucks. ACC is even worse, but they have Clemson. AAC is their contemporary but PAC has a better history along with blue blood in some of their veins and they desperately need a pity fuck to keep them engaged. Looks like B12 drew the short straw
  23. Retaining a bunch of dead weight on staff instead of making a little room for Samples is paying dividends.
  24. I think you're onto something with the Bama rehab, Sark is OC no? instead of coke or water bottles at the podium he can pimp the local moonshine, Plus public intoxication and job drinking are accepted and embraced in those parts.
  25. B12 refs are so bad it's comical. PAC refs are even worse. Ref from WSU-Cal game is suspended. WSU had a ~50yd kick return and got called for hands to the face, brought back to the 8 yard line. Ran 1 play then official told leach they called the penalty on the wrong team, oops. Meanwhile in the Bama-LSU game they were pretty much left to play. If they had B12 refs it would have been a 5 hour affair with 60 penalties and 18 ejections, while everyone would have to suffer through the gun show hogging camera time. And the reviews, might have been close to 6 hours.
