  1. When they ran away to the SEC in early 90s. Greener grass and whatnot like aggy. 56-22 overall
  2. So are you old enough that you got to witness fOSU fans Columbus style? Of course you know about sooners. OU fans fucking suck because everything about them sucks, fOSU fans are a bunch of fucking fucks. Pig is their regarded incestual offspring.
  3. It's fOSU. This is probably akin to driving through a checkpoint smoking a joint with a couple grams in a baggie that you can remorsefully forfeit and distract from the 150 kilos of coke welded into the frame of your follower truck.
  4. Hey don't get all bent, I spent $2.5M for sex before. To be more accurate, the cost was to move on from dwindling sex, among other things. There's always a cost to sex, marriage being one of the most expensive. As far as the name, potatoe/potato. Fiddy was already taken
  5. Holy shit. L O fucking hahahahhaa They are insane, truly " . We will allow discussion on the topic, but assumptions and accusations won't be tolerated.
  6. If you pay $20 for a sammich, how much do you have to pay for sex?
  7. Add $1 pabst blue ribbon from your user name and good times.
  8. 3/4 of the teams left look like they are better coached. If you are playing with a coaching deficit, earlier games are easier to win than later games against similar opponents because, coaching. Good coaches watch film (the more the better) find tendencies (again, more film is better) and exploit them. See sweaty cockroach as an example. Well coached teams will figure out our 8 offensive plays and what down and formations indicate. On defense they have learned they can throw deep and often or run the edges. Just watch out for the blitzes coming in from Round Rock or Kyle depending on play direction of course. Maybe kneel the ball on 1st and second so they can get to the 3rd and Orlando money down.
  9. Cheap shots aside, games back in the late 70s to early 80's were something. Cheap shots weren't always penalties back then, things that would get you kicked out of football today. There was no such thing as horse collar, clothesline tackles still took heads off, and who else remembers a UT DB tergeting a ball carrier to the ground and Jerry Gray launching head first like an ICBM and spearing the guy 2 seconds later. No penalties, just how different football was between then and now. And OU didn't get called for holding back then either.
  10. Saban manages staffs like that every year, but not many could effectively handle that. You need giant balls to smother all those egos if you want a high power staff like that. Tom can't even handle the shit eating tweedle dumbs he has, so I would have to say no.
  11. Sweaty cockroach bastard had a few outstanding quotes in that Dave wilson write-up
  12. @jdhorn92 must be the new porta potty girl with this from yesterday What I’m hearing is Bob Stoops as head coach. He’ll bring Venables with hiim as DC, with the idea that Venables assumes the position in a year or two. Briles will stay on as OC if they can’t get Joe Brady from LSU. either that or Allison reads surly
  13. And the way he said it, "you guys think this is some kind of joke, you should know me after 3 years of this. I had to ask who we play, I don't know who we play next week." Ya, either way that's fucked. Being so narrowly focused on a thing to the exclusion of smaller things like who we play an given week, that's not good for the guy in charge. The guy who should be monitoring all aspects of the program to determine who is performing, who is not, what is working, and what is not. Or he's just an immature child. This isn't going to end well, is it?
  14. I think moreso is situational awareness. When a half is running down in an already chaotic way, and the kicking team is stressing over the play clock running down, don't ice them and give them extra time to set up.
  15. I don't know but someone one here was saying the talk was Stoops and he brings venables with a HCIW plan over a few years
  16. Yep needs thread. So the reumor yesterday something was in the works with Stoops and venables getting the band back together.... starting to sound like good info. Clemson might be the biggest loser in this deal
  17. I mean, strong took less than market salary and we paid the difference, have you seen jumbos contract?
  18. Holt shit at Jimbo with 15/1 i mean, he could take the job for $1/yr with aggy saddled with $7.5M, freeing up record setting assistant coach money. Outstanding in so many ways.
  19. It looks like the wheels are starting to come off, and recruiting is starting to implode. Replacing all his dead weight at once is going to accelerate the recruiting implosion Keeping the dead weight is going to accelerate his replacement HCs job #1 is hiring staff and managing them. Replacing underperforming coaches with better ones, and replacing good ones when they leave for promotions with good replacements. Strong sucked at job #1 for a HC and Herman looks just as bad. Herman should have been upgrading 1-2 positions a season and he would be in a better position now. But very much like his predecessor, he has done very poorly at his #1 job function.
  20. That would suck assuming Herman is still coach 2-3 years from now because I think futureman is right about his role in this system. Sure seems like bringing back Samples as a coach replacing (take your pick), and doing it as soon as possible would be a smart move to firm up recruiting.
  21. What are his characteristics that would make him a good head coach? You're a really good coordinator, good at calling plays So I want to hire you to do a completely different job. Hope it works out! The job of a HC is much different than the job of a coordinator. the HC job first and foremost is to hire good assistants. Hire assistants so fucking good that everyone wants to poach/promote them, so you have to keep finding and hiring good assistants. I would argue the HC main job is evaluating talent and recruiting coaches who are good at evaluating talent and recruiting players. Bonus points if they can also coach.
  22. Refs are going in for the hit. PAC nearing irrelevance...
  23. Texags nuked their game thread. Natives are getting restless already WRT Baggins and co.
  24. He's aggy and a racist and he's trolling. Read through his posts, he's not actually disgusted at what Earl said because it's racist, he's disgusted because he can't get away with saying racist shit without getting called out. He's pissed about perceived.double standards. Oh and as an aggy and a Sul Ross apologist he's extremely angry that Earl would dare opine that black athletes are more athletic at football than white atheletes. I mean, they should know their place at the back of the bus right? It's not as if there is any available data such as racial demographics in the US and the NFL which you could compare, so I guess we will never know.
  25. Look at the replay, ball juggled and looks like it hit the ground between the players. Competence of B12 refs, review EVERYTHING except, you know, plays that should maybe be reviewed.
