  1. Hey Hamm, which gives you fonder memories? Your 90% prediction rate during your glory days, or your 90% completion rate at the glory holes?
  2. I don't know that yarnell is a better QB, but Card only had 1 receiving threat. Yarnell is good and also like 6-5 or 6-6 or something with a good arm and some ability to move. I think in a win at any cost you take a good QB with 2 legit receiving threats over a really good QB with 1 receiving threat who is neutralized most of the game. Particularly when there is 0 run game.
  3. Offensive line did a terrible job, no running game at all. Card didn't run and had leg cramps which affected his ability to plant, though he did a good job of escaping the untouched rushers all night. Losing McCree is huge as he was 1 of 2 primary weapons on offense. They just don't have enough good receiving threats this season after Kyle Eaves Another McRee note, last year he looked lanky, now he looks like a TE Defense looks improved this year, LB Trevenio looks good, secondary play looks better but the got torched a few times, and they have a DE who also played corner who looks like he might stand out. The Erwin brother lining up at NG is too small, looks like a LB. Martin had better QB play than LT. 14 Points for LT is pretty indicative of the offense not being close to what it usually is. Though if it were just about winning games you could move Card out to WR and start Yarnell and have a better offense.
  4. I was at the game (daughter at TxSt) and I was thinking how nice people we being, but Mrs Fidy pointed out the the beer vendors don't count. In hindsight I'm pretty sure none of those nice vendors went to aggy and welcome anyone who isn't wearing moron. Live game notes: they aren't as bad as I hoped, but they are nowhere near as good as aggy hopes. Offensive line is terrible, D-line not a lot better. Receivers pretty solid, LBs pretty good. Secondary has a coup,e guys who can play but speed is an issue all around. Mond looks like he did last year, Calzada throws so hard his receivers can't handle the ball. In other words, everything we knew here confirmed again stands were 65-70% at peak, actually pretty lame crowd. They pipe crowd noise in the first quarter during their choreographed scenes. It was loud as shit but it was mostly coming from the speakers. Is that even legal while the other team is on offense? i did manage to embarrass Mrs Fidy a little when they tried to get us to do that seesaw sawed off bullshit, I sang the Eyes of Texas with horns up instead.
  5. tOSU entire fan base sucks. aggy entire fan base is fucking weird.
  6. The fam all like torchys, I don't care for it at all. Their breakfast tacos are just not good and I'm not that picky with tacos. Petes tacos at Maudie's are good in comparison, and there's about 100 places that make better ones in town. Surprised they didn't mention fine dining at the oasis.
  7. Right. If I had an atomic clock for a heart I would care about being on time as well. I personally suck at being on time for anything.
  8. The guys on either side of mayfield. Lagasse was after, forget the guy before the 2 brewers, mayfield and squints were all really good HS QBs
  9. But perroni & pubes will never quit aggy. Karen will follow Baggins to his next stop and all the shit she will talk about aggy in hindsight might just earn her a classics page on surly.
  10. That's hilarious. Wouldnt complain about Richardson being one of our backups this year, but damn. I wouldn't trade whoever aggy 2 best players on their team (green, leal?) for our 2 safeties.
  11. That's interesting considering I heard gata was DBU.
  12. CTJ Bruhman huckleberry pato del muerto Armybrat
  13. Damn, that sounds like a surly parody of looch. He trolls his customers with shit like this, they lap it up and get right back in line for a refill. The propaganda machine works as well as ever, leading 75% of those rubes thinking the beat Clemson because last years game was close, and UGA is a foregone conclusion for near every single one of them. UT beat UGA because they didn't want to be there, so obviously aggy will beat them too because they lost to UT means they must not be very good. fucking aggy logic pretzel.
  14. I saw Leal play in 4 games in HS, the kid took a lot of snaps off. More than 50% of the time he loafed. He is a big dude, and when he decides to get involved it obvious why everyone wanted him. Looked like he needed to go to a program that would give him the best conditioning and coaching available to become a 1st round pick. aggy wasn't the best choice, probably not even a good choice.
  15. aggy tears are so sweet. Which of the 2 scenarios creates the most robust tears to ferment into something special? A) Ritzbit loses interest and things go south worse than FSU, while losing the team. aggy turns on him and the fun really begins, $75M, searching for cause, tastes like a high end cognac blend, something akin to courvoisier l'esprit. B). He packs his shit and heads to LSU (or somewhere else in division) for LESS money BEFORE they turn on him. Fun ensues, tears taste like Louis XIII. I get it, L'esprit costs more. But I prefer the flavor of the Remy.
  16. Not likely but would probably be awesome based on a 10 letter name
  17. Contract negotiations, salary cap, whatnot.
  18. Just to be clear, take any big name program from any conference and you will see the following from 2018 Bama-- average OL weighs in at 312, DL averages 298 lbs USC-- average OL weights in at 311, DL averages 299 OU-- average OL 306, average DL 293 tOSU-- average OL 314, average DL 277 Clemson-- OL average 318, DL average 294 UT-- OL average 303, DL average 282 Michigan-- OL average 313, DL average 270 UW-- OL average 304, DL average 295 Bama as the model SEC champ has an obvious and substantial size advantage over other teams from other conferences. SECx3 size just means more.
  19. This is true, it's what defines aggy. Completely average excluding their 4 game handicap. I think their coach is better than they have had in a while until he recruits them into a hole and completely loses the locker room. They will bumblefuck into a win among their big 4, lose one of the others and finish 8-4. Tax slayer bowl win against Memphis, finish 9-4 and claim all is well because next year, look out! Rinse, repeat. After decades of this in all it's variations, we know this tired story by heart.
  20. They didn't want to be there, They were too busy getting ready for clemson in the MNC.
