All the drops last week makes me think that something is deeply wrong with this offense..

I think maybe Quinn's lack of success in the Red Zone combined with his ability to turn the ball over combined with his hesitancy (or self-doubt, or nervousness, whatever) in the Red Zone, combined with some god-awful passes/near interceptions in the Red Zone has bled over to the rest of the players. The whole fucking team behind Quinn seems to have a lack of focus, a "what's gonna go wrong next" psychosis. A ball is thrown too slowly, perhaps and it throws off their timing as they wait to get whacked after the catch... or whatever... has resulted in a team that can't score TDs inside the Zone, and I haven't seen any signs in the last eight games that they're gonna get over it. They're snake bit.

Sark, you've got to try something different to help them get their mojo back. Take Quinn the fuck out inside the thirty for a few possessions and see if that helps anything. Worst case scenario, it doesn't, but it helps them get the Arch monkey off their backs. Maybe they'll step up and say "I guess we're gonna have to drag Quinn across the finish line."

Do something... Just try anything Sark, because the formula you've been running isn't working worth a shit. Quit being a fucking spectator. Quit being a fucking Xs and Os guru and return to being a coach that does whatever needs to be done to win. Engage the team in a new tack. Almost makes me wonder if Sark has caught a bit of the Quinn Hesitation Psychosis and it's fucking him up too. In scientific terms: Seems like everyone on offense is running around, being a pussy. Goddammit, you got to beat these motherfuckers next Saturday. Hop to it.

That was a lot of words to say nothing….

This explanation seems way less reasonable than Sark being scared of hurting the Ewers camp feefees as has been suggested.

Why would he care about that? There’s no younger Ewers we’d be recruiting and no potential recruit is going to question why he gave way to one of the most heralded recruits in history….

Hell, I’m still pissed Hugh Green didn’t win.

A lot of people thought Rickey Jackson was the best player on that defense…

  5. If Fisher shows he can man RT next year that would allow them to move Tytus to LT and jettison the penalty machine in the offseason. Howard actually has looked better at LT over the few starts he’s had there than at RT or G over the course of his career…

This may have been talked about up thread but wanted to chime in after hearing some confusion on OTF about it.

The NCAA is heavily involved on in stadium experience for home games in the post season. I worked a few games at the FCS level and they limit everything from music on 3rd downs to how the PA announcer can do their job amongst other home game staples.

Be prepared for a stale environment that will be completely dependent on the crowd to produce noise.

The NCAA has zero to do with the FBS playoffs; it’s not their event, and the people who run it don’t give a flying fuck what they want…

If the original purchaser transfers or sells their tickets, are they notified if the person they sold or transferred them to does the same?

Once you sell/transfer there’s no way to know what happened to then, unless UT sends an email saying they got revoked cuz some dude fired a bottle on the field….

I went looking for Navy Parking there at LBJ and only thing I found was on craigslist but the price seemed ridiculous. Some of you folks that know what was face value for Navy Parking for this Clemson game?

My charge was $879 total for 4 seats with a face of $200 plus a Navy pass, but I can’t remember if there was some ‘service fee’ in that total or not. Max of $79 for the parking pass…

It will be interesting if some are returned.  This is like a bowl game except it is before christmas so it will be harder for people to travel/get off work.  that said Clemson fans would probably be pretty excited to play Texas I would assume.

Wonder what percentage of season ticket holders are within a 3.5-hour drive of the stadium; has to be really high…

Having driven from both Louisville and Cincinnati to Lexington.

Let me just state bourbon trail >>>>>> skyline chili

The drive is definitely more scenic from Louisville, and only about 15 minutes longer. Flying from anywhere in Texas you’ll probably get better fares/more options into Cincinnati (whose airport is actually in Kentucky)…

Where does one fly into for Georgia? Atlanta? I don’t see a United Houston to Athens flight.

    Same question for Lexington, KY.

Yes, you fly into the busiest airport in the world…

I don’t understand how Penn St and ND don’t have higher spread overs SMU and Indiana?

and Texas should be closer.   This is a 17-10 type game unless the offense unfucks itself.

I’ll bet you $500 that we win by at least 8 AND that there are at least 28 total points scored…

Yes, and your point is? Texas fucked up the ticket process for this game. Because people found work around should not excuse their incompetence. Be better.

Are you sure you didn’t just fuck up and miss the email? I’ve had season tickets for 35 years and I’ve never known there to be a pre-determined cutoff for simply requesting tickets. Shit they let every season ticket holder request aggy and Michigan tickets even though 99% of them had no prayer at getting them…
