I know of a guy (second hand), a pilot. He took a job to fly a plane he didn't have a rating for, that's okay the new boss was going to pay for it. So he convinces boss to give him the money directly and he would pay the training center, well he decides to skip the training and keep the money ($105K or so). Now he needs a First Officer, not required that the FO has a full type rating, but he does need a Second in Command or SIC training. He decided to skip that part too and get the Helicopter guy that works for the same boss to sit right seat. This all comes to light when... they abort a takeoff and run the airplane off the end of a runway. Now he's facing time in the graybar hotel, as is the FO. Not to mention answering to the boss as to where the cash went and why the insurance company isn't wanting to pony up to fix the jet. Instead of facing the music, both guys double down. They steal the boss's helicopter which was last seen flying south, way south.
All that is just to say I STILL don't think that's as stupid or whack as Antonio Brown.
