  1. Well yeah, because the coaching staff doesn't need to report.
  2. DeShon Elliott @OfficialShon_4 Y’all thought Coach Strong was a bad coach... what’s y’all take now ? 4:01 PM · Oct 10, 2020 Easy answer, I now think Tom is a bad coach and Charlie was a awful coach. As much as I want Tom gone, he's better than the worst coach in UT history.
  3. I would take him right now even if he has gone full Stephen Hawking!
  4. I believe this is the ultimate truth. I also believe the BB's are already hitting the floor.
  5. Who wouldn't want to play for Urban?
  6. If Tom were fired today (I get endorphins just writing that). Which Tom would we see? the Tom that is trying to position for his next gig? Or the immature double bird at the camera, spring bullets on the way out the door Tom? I mean, I'm good with either one of those scenarios.
  7. The I ain't gonna buy tickets and gas up the airplane to go it see it bowl! If we don't get into that one then we drop down to the I'm not gonna bother to watch it on TV bowl (we get into that one if Herman is still the coach)
  8. I'm not thinking it's about confidence. I'm not a coach so maybe it doesn't apply. But I married a hot woman because, well I thought it was a damn fine idea to wake up next to a hot woman. I had experienced it previously in life, and found I enjoyed it. I would go with the logic, that (generally) a coach that has a hot wife would have the skills to be a good recruiter.
  9. The time passes, sure. But you are in a different place. Money is what keeps this train rolling. Pretend all you want, but as soon as the money and "goodies" go away so does recruiting. Remember what rolls downhill.
  10. Not sure that's the case, but if it is get ready for a lot less "nice stuff" for UT athletics!
  11. Ironic that as the wheels are coming off the football program and it seems at least as likely that the coach will get fired for his part in burning down a 100+ year old bridge between the fans and athletes as he will for being a poor coach and arrogant prick.
  12. What I was trying to point out is that if you are a donor, you should absolutely have strings attached. In the same sense that "good fences make good neighbors". If you want to donate and having Herman fired is what you want or having a particular coach hired is high on your list, you should absolutely have at least a M.O.U. If you donated without an understanding and they used the money to give Herman an extension, you would be mad (and rightfully so) and unlikely to donate again (something they depend on, believe me.)
  13. I like the way they play as a TEAM. What a concept.
  14. Why would that be all they would get? As a donor you can put any conditions on it that you wish. They are free to turn it down.
  15. Honest question, if you were in a position to donate large sums of money to any organisation would you just give them a blank check or would you put conditions on the donation?
  16. You're talking Mack Brown aren't you?
  17. ad@athletics.utexas.edu He usually writes back. He didn't respond to one I sent three months ago where I questioned the wisdom of losing focus in a fractured Spring while trying to install a new game plan on both sides of the ball. He was likely very busy, but it could be that I made him mad. It was probably a lot nicer than the one I sent this evening outlining my thoughts on my continued contributions and attendance to see a collection of players (not a team) that don't seem to appreciate what is being provided to them. My conclusion being, we need a coach that will fix this.
  18. I was there. 50 yard line up high in Sec 128. It was just like it looked in the picture.
  19. Who said that? No one has ever said that.
  20. 3 but taller with long brunette hair. That is as much info as you get.
