  1. 109. Detroit Lions: Devin Duvernay, WR, Texas 117. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Brandon Jones, S, Texas 128. Buffalo Bills: Collin Johnson, WR, Texas I am so curious to see where/when Brandon Jones and CJ end up going. They both really could have benefited from Pro Day and without it there are some legit questions left on the board for teams.
  2. Agreed. Duv 19 is > Quan 05. CJ (healthy) 19 also > Sweed just not as much. Besides them, Cosmi would be 6th OL utility dude. The 05 line was unreal. I'd take Ossai over Killabrew, and then Dicker over Pino. Most positions are not even close really. 3rd safety would go to Jones or a healthy Sterns. 4th CB would go to Jamison? Kelson or BJ Foster (healthy) in the hybrid SS/LB role? I'm taking Kelson, dude was a baller. The gap from 05 to 19 in most positions is HUGE. obviously makes sense but going position by position kinda makes you laugh.
  3. He knew he was losing it, bailed out immediately
  4. hahahaha yes it fucking was jesus christ
  5. those were also two insanely talented defenses with some gangstas playing lights out ball. That UT secondary was the college version of the LOB at the time. DBU BDE
  6. hahahaha Pittman literally made the call for the ref
  7. Cheers from Seattle, I don't know how or where to look at graphs like that on a state level. At this point, I feel like it would be useful to be able to show the curves of the major international places and compare them to each state in the US as each state is on it's own curve, with unique exposure, length of time, testing access, stay at home measures in place, etc etc.... Have all states with X min cases on the graph along with S. Korea, Italy, China, Spain, UK, etc. US total is an aggregate of so many locations at different points in their curve with different strategies, etc, to lump it all together is seems to be more like numbers porn than insightful data. We are just at the start of this thing from a national total level. I hope I'm wrong but this thing seems like it's going to balloon up in places as populations relax down the line.... I'm less interested in the US curve and much more interested in seeing what places are doing well here, with data, so that example can be copied or bettered. I've seen such graphs before either here or on twitter but my google fu is weak. Is that something I could filter into somewhere? Specifically at the moment i'm curious about the comparisons between WA, MI, NY, LosAng, LA, FL, and Italy, Spain, UK, China, S.Korea. Another note, am I wrong in thinking it would be nice for people to talk about the huge lag time from 'exposed, then contagious' to 'confirmed case' to 'confirmed case with death'...... this can be weeks sometimes, how useful is that!? not very. So we are all looking at data for cases confirmed NOW but these people have been out and about potentially a week. Not even accounting for the people that don't get sick enough to get tested by hospital, or the asymptomatic who never even know......THEN we are reacting with policy to those super delayed numbers after they post. We have been so far behind the pace of this for many reasons but I feel that is one not talked about enough. It's not political to say confirmed case now equals exposure and risk a week ago minimum. It's just a fact of the data we are working with. When trying to reinforce the idea that we all need to treat this seriously, I think this is an under utilized point. On the flip side, the news reacting to total case numbers or deaths each day like it's a shock..... that just isn't the point, we have known it's going to be exponential increases and there is a very real lag time from implementation of social distancing to change in curve..... To be impersonal about this for a moment, a death statistic +1 today is an exposure probably 2 to 3 weeks ago..... Acknowledge that and use it to scare people into staying the fuck home. I don't think I've seen that delay mentioned in a while and it's pretty crucial to understand the underlying mechanism of what the numbers mean at a given point.... right? rambling over. hope this makes sense partially at least. We have some great beer up here and I am indulging. deuces.
  8. he won't change his 'it's not that bad' tone until it's too late and many many people will already be on a path to death. It's going to take an entire region of local govt. governors, mayors, etc, reacting like that one Kentucky mayor... Listen up dipshits and sensible people. I might not have the best bedside manor. I might not put you at ease like the Governor does, but I don’t care. You need to realize that this is a serious ordeal. In fact, it’s a big f**cking deal. Stay at home.
  9. Video has been uploaded. general testing question @ 42:30 and his specific comment about fed rule is @ 43:23 https://www.tvw.org/watch/?clientID=9375922947&eventID=2020031188&autoStartStream=true
  10. he made it sound like the test they got from Fed, so I'm assuming the first batch of CDC long swab tests, are legally required to be processed by Fed at CDC centers. UW is able to analyze those test kits now. But there is red tape preventing that. I really want a reporter to grill Pence about that at todays presser. How in the world can a piece of red tape like that exists when we are MONTHS into a health pandemic. edit - that's the first i heard about it, i'm sure someone knows more about what the hold ups have been.
  11. Can't say it's blackmail necessarily, can't say it isn't either, but the fact that a governor has to play politics when addressing his own state during a health crisis because the potus is such a sensitive pussy is fucking shameful.
  12. Seattle resident here. Our gov Jay Inslee just had a press conference. I'm going to try and find a recording of it and i'll add if I find it. Notes so far, but I joined it partway through. Thought this might be of interest and a good change of pace. - currently not overloaded, but trending to be over capacity and we will need ventilators AND doctors. -Asking for retired and fresh out of school personnel to join the work force. - Sourcing ventilators, PPE, etc is troubling. Vendors are asking well above normal prices. Is reaching out to other countries including china. A federal strong hand to drive supply and regulate cost would have a hugely positive impact - just like everybody else, praised the administration Trump and Pence, for their open communication with the state. Having "good conversations" - When asked for how those conversations go, he visibly had to pause and just say they are going well and we want to keep that communication going. Sure looks like he wants to call Trump a numpty but can't cause he knows he'll get cut off. -When asked if he gave recommendations to Trump, he declined to get specific but suggested they are similar to what he's telling the state right now, which has been this is a long way from over and to continue to take this very seriously. It will take time to flatten the curve and get through it. Don't travel, stay in your neighborhood. Stay at home. limit the spread of this both from a person to person standpoint but also geographically to help with supply logistics. -Clarity on a testing rule. We have federal provided test kits on hand, but they can't be processed by commercial non federal labs. UW is standing by wanting and able to process tests and is able to handle a large amount, but aren't legally able to. This has been brought up to Pence. - Indicated we will maintain policies until we are positive that relaxing policies will not result in a resurgence of the virus. This will by nature take weeks... Pretty sure he wants to say it will be over a month but is hesitating to outright contradict the president cause he'll get butthurt. I'm glad to live in an area where people are taking this seriously both locally and at local govt level.
  13. yeah I had to flip to another channel cause this is a slow motion train wreck i have to watch
  14. people are, it's true, and it's very nasty, a very nasty thing that i don't support.
  15. I like it. Not as twitchy as Dougy B but faster, stronger, and equally glue hands. https://i0.wp.com/relativeathleticscores.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/doug-baldwin-ras-9363.png?w=1100&ssl=1 Sent from my LM-G850 using Tapatalk
  16. I think he's certainly capable of getting there.... He fuck punched LSU repeatedly lol. Athletically those guys were trash compared to Duv, but I think Duv's ticket to stick in the league is his play style which I hope he continues to angrify, thus thinking about those two as comparisons.
  17. better player comp to Duv? Hines Ward Steve Smith
