I’ve often muttered your name as if you were some kind of personal nemesis. Cooperman! Cooperman! You miserable malefactor of unimaginable wealth. Think of how upset you feel when you regard Elizabeth Warren and what she stands for. That’s what the name Cooperman does for me. You seem mystified that so many of us would regard America’s ultra-rich overlords with fury. I’ve been paying attention to your public statements. Not once have I seen a glimmer of understanding on your part of where this hostility might come from. Are you really so obtuse you can’t understand it?

I will probably leave the app when I can.  Do not want to liquidate some of my positions (like TSLA, AAPL and FTCH), but once I profit take, will move all over to Fidelity and TD.

I just liquidated my entire account. I've only had it since beginning of pandemic. Made a nice little bit of change.

How would you go about doing that, out of curiosity? I've been thinking about it quite a bit and can't think of anything that would be effective. I mean, these people dismiss Snopes and all other fact checkers out of hand as being a bunch of libtards.

I liked your idea of media literacy classes in high school. I'd probably quit my job to do something like that, TBH

The idea of being able to buy a house before 40 without help from parents is completely foreign to basically everyone I know, and basically everyone I know has a JD or a PHD.

Most of my colleagues have been practicing attorneys for over a decade. A of their spouses have full time jobs too. Maybe 10% own. The rest are still saving for that first down payment.

Self-selecting anecdote here, but I'm 38 and almost everyone I associate with has veered far left.

  5. It's telling that the people who complaint the most about CR are the very folks who spent YEARS in there on TOS and in here. It was only after 2016 that they migrated to DT to bitch about the CR.

Like you think we don't remember you guys?

They just signed this guy's death warrant. No way the members of that idiot racist fan club can now think he isn't an undercover federal plant. Well they are supremely stupid so I guess there is a small chance if he can convince them Q sent him instead.

he Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office has been tasked with attempting to return a $2 million stockpile of a malaria drug once touted by former President Donald Trump as a way to treat the coronavirus.

In April, Gov. Kevin Stitt, who ordered the hydroxychloroquine purchase, defended it by saying that while it may not be a useful treatment for the coronavirus, the drug had multiple other uses and “that money will not have gone to waste in any respect.”

But nearly a year later the state is trying to offload the drug back to its original supplier, California-based FFF Enterprises, Inc, a private pharmaceutical wholesaler.

So i know it's not the world's most pressing issue, but how soon does weed decrim come down the pipeline?

This reminds me of one of my favorite, corny criminal justice jokes:

    "What's a progressive prosecutor?"

"Someone who asks your preferred pronouns before locking you up for a gram of weed."

Just send another email to his office telling him to resign. Sure it won't do shit and he'll never set eyes on it but it makes me feel better.

This may have been covered before but do any of you guys that have worked in a political office know how those are handled exactly? I'm assuming they have interns working through them and maybe one out of every few hundred gets run up the flagpole for whatever reason. For emails of support they probably send a form "thank you" letter and make sure that email is on fundraising lists.

Would they keep a general accounting of what they are receiving (positive/negative/issue)? Is there a critical mass of "resign" emails Ted Cruz could receive that would come across his radar in any real way?
