It's inexcusable when the press reports things they haven't vetted. They in fact become enemies of the citizens of the nation thru reckless, self serving reporting of un substantiated fact.

Serious question: What unsubstantiated facts have the major news orgs gotten wrong?

There is overwhelming evidence of broad IC misconduct when it comes to the unconstitutional use of surveillance mechanisms by the IC. There is nothing tinfoilhattery or conspiracy laden about that statement.  I have been consistent on this perspective for as long as I have posted on longhorn political boards, over multiple administrations. The fact pattern wrt the investigations under discussion here suggests an early intersection between political motivations and work product and potential abuses of the surveillance protections that are intended to protect our Constitution rights. That concerns me. It would concern me no matter who was in office.

    Hahaha

Not a free market, and prescription drug prices are rising much faster when compared to other consumer goods and services, so not sure how that can be considered successful.  Try again.

    Yeah, I was kidding.

  5. Some people view healthcare as something everyone should have access to in a civilized, first world country.

Others view it no different than a commodity to be bought and sold. If you cant afford that commodity, then you cannot have it.

Those two sides are never going to see eye-to-eye. Of course, the latter group's argument can be a bit much for some to swallow because failing to acquire that commodity results in, you know, people dying.

    They should ban knives.

You say that as though that's a good thing.

Yeah, it is a good thing when a crazy person bent on inflicting as much damage as possible has a knife instead of a rifle capable of discharging dozens of rounds in a minute. This isnt hard.

Hey, I mean they are going the way of Australia even though they were already restricted. Maybe next shooting will be bow and arrow, probably not.

Wonder why there are so many knife attacks in the UK....

In fairness there are a bunch of different ideas about what can or should be done.  The 1/20/21 project guys want four more Supremes and many more lower court folks.  I am sure PB would have his own suggestions.

Still think it is a distraction.  Win.  Appoint justices.

Unless the other party controls the senate. In which case its win, nominate judges, stand there with your dick in your hand until your term is up.

The most impressive candidate in the field, IMO.  Unfortunately the name recognition just isn't there yet.  He'll need some sort of a "Beto NFL kneeling speech" moment to stand any sort of a chance.

I agree. He's been my favorite for awhile, but not sure he can make it through. With that said, we've already seen a spike in interest in just the last 2-3 weeks. If this momentum continues, then maybe he makes it through the first round of candidate culling.

    Lol, from that same "poll"

A 52 percent majority say they have little or no trust in the president's denials that his 2016 campaign colluded with Moscow in the election that put him in the Oval Office.

LOL, some survey EMA.  Pretty low bar we're operating under, no?

Hmm, I must've missed this. How is Overshown going to see the field in the next few years?
