in theory, but I'm actually not sure you can pick a candidate who angers both sides equally.
Leftists hate him for what they perceive as caving on Trans issues and vetoing some of the more progressive CA legislation. So they won't vote for him. They'll watch the Trump admin march the Trans community to the gas chambers, but at least they can tell people they stuck to their principles.
Conservatives and "moderates" won't vote for him because he's the Executive of a communist, crime-ridden hell hole where no one wants to live because demand for housing is so high.
Anyone else into Goose? Been following them for a couple of years now and have seen them live a handful of times.
They're easy to peg as a "jam band" and they do have songs and a style that lends itself to that label, but I'd say they're more of a hybrid with indie rock/rock. Rick Mitorotonda is a certified badass, both on the strings and on the mic.
I originally got into them when I heard the below cover of Bon Iver's AUATC.
That led me to this cover - Shama Lama Ding Dong from Animal House
But their own stuff is beautiful too. Below are a few, including their just released Madalena from their new album. That one sounds more like Jackson Browne, tbh. Anyway, anyone else familiar or a fan?
Not to mention, once Germany invaded Poland, Chamberlain was forced to confront reality and did not double down.
What he did not do, post German invasion of sovereign nations, is say "Hitler can do whatever the hell he wants."
Hell, St. John's in Houston - arguably the finest school in Texas - was founded in 1946 and they chose the name "Rebels" for the mascot along with Johnny Reb as the mascot. Wonder why the group of white men chose that name and iconography in 1946?
This was the yearbook cover in 1983.
Haha...you got me.
I was with some friends/family from Texas 2 weeks ago - all of whom live in "desirable" parts of DFW and Houston. Their homes are all valued well over 1m, but they were bemoaning the fact that they could never make it in CA due to home prices. Played a bit of cell phone flop out with Zillow to illustrate. No doubt coastal CA is more expensive, but depending on where you live, you might not experience the sticker shock you'd expect.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that our O-line may have some issues against OSU. And that's ok. First game of the season, first game for these 5 together, at OSU, etc.
Obviously the football board will meltdown but I think its fair to expect some growing pains along the way. I'd be surprised if the O-line in week 12 isn't leaps and bounds above where it will be in week 1.
Its possibly an old, outdated map. Also posssible that the map sucks. But things in Virginia don't seem as clear cut as you state:

Edit: Appears to be the same in Ohio.
You're not wrong. I try to distance myself from this as much as possible, focus on the stuff within my immediate control, and avoid rage/doom scrolling.
That said, I also realize that this nation is at a tipping point, and it can be uncomfortable to simply stand at the handrail while the ship goes down.
Is your position that these GOP dominated states are going to rush to amend their state constitutions to protect Gay marriage should SCOTUS overturn Obergfell?
