  1. anybody got Bill's number to call and check on him?
  2. actually, it had been dropped for the last 20+ post until you brought it back up.
  3. doling out hard truths... 4 months later....
  4. Well, to be fair to Derka, the conversation had worked its course, and then a day later Post Oak drops this: Very few posters on this board who aren't going to respond to that.
  5. lol In what I'm sure is a wild coincidence Fox News ran an article today comparing Obama's treatment of Bibi in with Trump's treatment of Ukraine, NATO, and the UN. Because we all have functioning brains, we see that there's no real comparison, but very sad to see that this is the best "both sides" they can come up with.
  6. Did you choose this gif with the knowledge that he's written this book?
  7. lol, you're concerned about separation of powers? that's cute
  8. Again, I'm sure this was another example of cunning diplomacy and realpolitik. Obviously we're too stupid to understand. As we were constantly reminded on this thread all fall.
  9. I'm no business man, but are we sure aggie didn't aggie it up and agree to pay THEM half a billion dollars, because looking at this website, I'm not so sure they have $5m to spend, much less $500m https://playfly.com/ Also, lol at the company's "Values" page. Aggie is gonna love this: At Playfly Sports, we promote and foster diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging through the four pillars of education, recruitment, development and community. We strive to empower and embrace equal voice, opportunity, and expression, thereby elevating our culture to inspire members of Playfly Sports and our surrounding communities. Acting on this commitment, Playfly’s internal Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Council consistently works to amplify the voices of our team members through our employee-led Inclusion Resource Groups (IRGs):
  10. bummer that Sirhan Sirhan was denied parole in 2013
  11. coincidentally, also a Putin lover
  12. Yeah, being elected honorary captain of the National Team while supporting the guy who wants to do away with the entire Nation, is surprisingly not a good way to endear oneself to the people of that Nation.
  13. The Great One gets a not-so-great reception for wanting to Make America Great Again: His poor, plasticine wife cannot understand why people are being mean and wants everyone to know that Wayne's feelings are really, really hurt. She writes: "Your words mean the world to Wayne and his family, I have never met anyone who is more proud to be a Canadian and it has broken his heart to read and see the mean comments."
  14. Don't sweat it. Good chance your plane crashes on the way in.
  15. I'm guessing the firing of veterans and the siding with Russia against Ukraine.
  16. Its also why the DT Ukraine thread is now dead. Many people who posted on it for years are now gone. Either too ashamed to show back up knowing they helped to hasten the end of Ukraine, or so brainwashed that they now find themselves agreeing that Ukraine was the aggressor.
  17. Look into the Academy museum and the Peterson Automotive Museum. You can do both and then have lunch at the Original Farmer's Market nearby. Also, great time of the year to visit the Huntington Gardens and Library. Advanced ticket required.
  18. "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall." "In fact, I would encourage Russia to do whatever the hell they want." Same same
  19. How is firing thousands of employees working on things like air safety, cancer research, national park upkeep, etc. "exposing the misappropriation of gov funds?" These are congressionally authorized funds going to people doing important work that helps everyone. He's just willy nilly slashing jobs. Just because you may personally believe that cancer is not worth combating, doesn't mean the funds have been misappropriated.
