  1. Your wife has a rule that her parents can accuse you of whatever they want and you have to hold your tongue? Are you up for canonization and/or cucking?
  2. No, I get it. And I thought Downey was brilliant. Liked the twist at the end with Malik's character. But considering the subject matter was the building of a doomsday device and the moral/ethical concerns in doing so, I personally found it difficult to get invested in the ultimate outcome of that struggle.
  3. Thought it was fantastic. Only complaint was the final quarter of the movie - revoking his clearance over a personal grudge - seemed wholly unimportant considering the subject matter of the film. Visually it was stunning
  4. From an acquaintance. Art show in LA two nights ago:
  5. Very curious to hear who Billy Walton was up against when he recorded the sack and multiple pressures.
  6. Haven't seen it yet and have avoided reading much about it. Tickets tomorrow on IMAX 70mm at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Can't wait.
  7. Thank goodness we have @Hank Scorpio to provide us updates
  8. Honestly, aggy seems like they are where we were in the offseason leading up to 2011. No, nothing to worry about. 2010 was a weird anomaly and I'm sure our crackerjack staff will turn this ship around. *sobs
  9. Um, if he doesn't slow down halfway in the route while looking at the ball as it sails through the air, its a walk-in touchdown. Not sure highlighting your #1 receiver unable to track a ball is a great look. Nice dive though
  10. Agreed. Which reminds me, does anyone remember that 1999 game where we lost to NC State bc of THREE (3) blocked punts?
  11. My wife works in one of the more progressive school districts in CA, which would put it in the running for most progressive nation-wide. And yet, all of these ultra-liberal curriculums that are designed to denigrate the white race only seem to be popping up in rural(or suburban), staunchly-red areas. You would think I would be seeing all of these things - lessons on how whites are bad, cat-kids pissing in litter boxes, blaming the white students for slavery, etc - in progressive CA, but nope. Makes one wonder.
  12. Didn't know where else to put this, and I thought some of you native Houstonians would appreciate this. My father, in his 70s, has one of the more remarkable memories of any person I've ever encountered. He remembers the smallest of details from his childhood. As a gift, we got him a "subscription" to "StoryWorth," a company that sends out journaling prompts, and inspires the recipient to respond. In a way, its to memorialize his memories. Anyway, in response to "tell us about your grandparents" he responded with the below. A look at Houston in the 1950's and 60's. Its almost unrecognizable.
  13. 100% agree. 10 mph over the speed limit? 3 months in jail. 25mph over? 5 years in prison. 50mph over? 25-life. Just because those speeders didn't cause any harm, doesn't mean we shouldn't dissuade the conduct.
  14. Well, we're going to need to start poaching now that Arch is a certified bust
  15. hmmm I promise i'm not stalking you. It just stuck with me as you're normally not so rube-ish.
  16. Wasn't it just 48 hours ago you were on here telling everyone that it was 100% over and he was headed to LSU?

    High

I have a family member in CO who micro doses almost daily. He buys a bottle with 100 capsules each containing .5mg (I think). I don't think there's a legal route to purchase in CO, but they are decriminalized. I also have a friend who buys psilocybin chocolate bars online and has them shipped to TX. Here's a NYT article about it. Second link is an online shop that purports to sell them online to every state. Cannot vouch for them. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/31/well/mind/psilocybin-mushrooms-addiction-therapy.html https://www.psilouette.com/ https://doubleblindmag.com/you-can-now-buy-shrooms-online/
